Blizzard really has a knack for starting an archetype and only supporting it after it already rotated.

That being said Kangor looks pretty nutty if you don't get silenced. He just keeps coming back and pulling more stuff and you can't even race him because of all the Lifesteal.

Are we actually just doing Cube Paladin now? Because Lead Dancer and Annoy-o-Troupe gives me Voidlord flashbacks and I don't like it.

Druid cards seem nice. No crazy combo that flips the table and kicks your opponent in the balls, just good and honest stats that you pile on one by one.

Since Brann is probably not staying in Core Druid will need something else to finish games with and I think just summoning a bunch of big lads and buffing them up could be good enough (and in the end there's always Astalor)

Alright now I'm really confused. Why would they not reveal this together with the Shaman set from yesterday? It clearly synergizes with the Overload package, specifically the weapon and Inzah (as well as Criminal Lineup, which sounds like very fun way to close out the game if you can assemble it early enough).

I thought the entire point of these clustered reveals was to show every synergistic package at once instead of drip-feeding disconnected cards (never forget Relic Vault)

Î think you're being overly pessimistic, especially considering Overheal will feature heavily in the Core set which we haven't even seen.

The whole point of Overheal is to give Priest something to do with all their healing that doesn't just involve not dying.

You're also massively overstating how broken trading + healing is. If that was such a great strategy Priest would be a lot better in Arena than it usually is. Board-based Priest decks are only a problem when they just shit out massive stats in a single turn (e.g.: Bless Priest), so as long as you remove all this "buff health and then oneshot" crap there's nothing inherently unbalanced about the idea of keeping your board healthy.

They're actually trying something for Priest that isn't just derivative of other classes or reliant on gimmicky bullshit and you're already doomsaying when we've seen a total of 3 cards with said keyword.

If the hero power ends up mattering a lot in OVerhal decks this is pretty good, but otherwise it's just average

    Wisp Priest meta

I think this could be good, but it will depend on Priest'S ability to efficiently swarm the board and I'm not quite sure about that. Technically you can get pretty sticky with Undead 1-drops thanks to the Reborn spell, so maybe there's a world where you just snowball hard early and this is your payoff.

Maybe it also just goes into Naga Priest.

Sounds pretty strong as long as we get strong healing spells (just Flash Heal would be a 1-mana 5-drop with this)

You know, at some point the whole "Warlock is a class that griefs you" becomes a bit stale. They have done so many of these and with each iteration they become more and more awkward to play.

Like, remember the original [Hearthstone Card (Rin the First Disciple) Not Found] and Gnomeferatu? They were simple, to the point, and they worked. Now you have to jump through seven loops just to get an effect that barely even puts you at an advantage.

Okay so what exactly is the meme here?

I'm assuming you're supposed to use this with all the Deathrattle synergies from last set (mainly Shallow Grave) and then mill your opponent into submission while dodginng fatigue damage yourself with Void Virtuoso, but how on earth could that be practical.

Unironically, the original Rin is probably a better win condition even today than this thing.

Well, at least it's discard support

If this somehow becomes meta it will just get hardcountered by weapon removal.

Also you need to ahve stuff on the board to bounce it in the first place

Mediocre. The stats are awful and you need to combo to even get any use out of him, but maybe it's just that important to keep playing Combo cards.

Man, Foxy Fraud in Core would be a godsend for this.

This looks pretty nuts to be honest. It's Shadowstep, but instead of reducing cost it basically just gives you a copy with Rush, which eliminates any potential loss of tempo.

just imagine what this wouuld do if Classic Edwin was still around.

Pretty strong as long as you can jam a sizeable amount of Combo cards into your deck and I'm pretty sure you can. A lot of card draw is combo-based so this just makes sense to throw in. BAsically just new Gnoll except it isn't complete bullshit.

Assuming that Prep is still in Standard this could be really huge. Not sure what to use this with (Freebird, lol), but surely a multi-Tenwu has to be good

Vanish was powerful exactly because it bounced your opponent's stuff, you're comparing apples to oranges here.

You can say it dunks on the 1-mana spell from Rise of Shadows, but that one saw basically no play.

I actually really like the idea of Combo being used to represent "flow" in a hip hop song.

That being said, I pray that this means Shadowstep is finally gone, because otherwise we're getting Roguestone for the third time in a row.

Seems mediocre. It's a spell tutor, but not a great one and it's probably pretty hard to activate.

Good card all around, even better if you can discount it and play it early, but it's certainly not enough to carry an entire archetype by itself.

Kinda boring if all Shaman is allowed to do is play good stats for the cost with no deeper synergy

Could be a decent card, but it honestly feels a bit too slow. The nature of overload means that you get a benefit early for a downside later, meaning that the mana cheat isn't as much mana cheat as it is just offestting the downside of Overload, but that by itself isn't really unfair enough in my opinion

Decent control card, but what does Control Shaman build up to?
