    Hi together,

what do you think about the nerf to Questrogue? Blizzard nerfed the interaction between Sonya Shadowdancer and Stonetusk Boar, boars generated by sonya won't get  the buff from crystal core.

    What do you think?

Sorry, I meant, " you STILL would have 2-4 more weapons in your deck (1 wrench, maybe 1 wood... etc)" The weapongs, don't really need to be the ones I named, just meant that you would still have 2-4 weapons, that's all.

Posting being at work is really hard with your boss lurking around lol.

Haha. :D Well, i just created how a Quest warrior for me could look like:

I think the same, the quest is most likely completed earlier than this, but still, you would have 2-4 more weapons in your deck (1 wrench, maybe 1 wood, 1-2 colliders), it's important to think that the way the devs are trying to shape the meta in a kind of late game mode, where everything is more like "tempo early and mid, value late game" (kind of like always really), and with this kind of quest, you lose armor up so, this would be like, "you like the quest? Ok, this is how you gain armor"

Why 1x Wrenchcaliber? You cut the best midrange weapon in the game for a control weapon like Super Colliders? I could understand you, if you would play an control deck, but then you wouldn't run the quest, but Boom. This quest is either for aggressive or midrange decks, because 2-mana 4/3s aren't that good in lategame.

I wouldn't run Colliders at all in a Midrange Deck. I would prefer 2x Wrenchcalibers and Woodcutter's Axe with Upgrade and Greenskin, maybe 1 Sul'thraze or Arcanite Reaper, but i am not sure about it, needed to be tested.

Yeah... In Wild, but in standard? This is the best "clear a board and fulfill a quest in the meantime" for warrior, unless there are other ways that I didn't came up with.

Your best case is good on paper, but in reality i doubt it that your ogre will live longer than one turn, because you need two turns to setup for this and I guess the quest will be done already, when u start using this.

Woodcutter's Axe and Wrenchcaliber will complete the quest. :P

No, never thought it will be meta to be honest, but the risk is out there, and it would be a powerful combo.

Drywhisker Armorer + Brann Bronzebeard is a powerful combo, but not Sul'thraze and this guy, at least not in 10+ ranks.

It's annoying for aggro and combo decks, Sherlock... (sorry, couldn't resist XD) Wild exists, we don't know if the Standard meta will remain the same (very probably not), and my rank is not your business. ;)

We will talk in a month again.

Sorry, but... people don't play Yeti/Ogre because it's a blank card... this instead, grants 5 armor everytime you attack... Now think, Sul'thraze... Now imagine against a token deck... attack 4 times, get 20 armor. Yeah... this drops down, better kill it.

And Sulthraze will be meta? I doubt it, but we will see.

It has 6 attack AND 7 health for 6 mana, dude, it's not that easy to remove, and yeah, people don't play Yetis or Ogres all day because they don't have a f...king annoying ability in addition to having relative good stats for their mana cost. -.-

Annoying effect? Lul. This effect doesn't do anyhting for the board and you call this annoying? Are you rank 15 or below? O.o

In all my years playing Hearthstone I learned one thing that fair cards like Yeti or Ogre are bad; not because they have good stats, but because they don't do sth. special and this card is similar to them or Shieldmaiden (see no play in wild). In a meta, where decks like Conjurer Mage or Bomb/CW exists, this card has no chance to be part of.

It reminds me on Shieldmaiden and I doubt that it will grants you the effect more than one time.

You will get five armor every time your hero attacks while this is on the board, dude. The card text is very clear... -.-

I think what he meant is that he doubts this will last on the board more than 1 turn for you to be able to use the effect more than once.

    Or maybe I'm wrong.

You are probably right, Demonxz95, my bad, but if the enemy spends resources trying to desperately remove this minion from the board because of its ability, isn't that a good thing, Yusuke? Doesn't that mean this card is a very powerful one?

Wait, what? This guy has 6 attack, it will be removed/traded like any other card... it doesnt mean this card is good, otherwise ppl would play Yeti or Ogres all day, but they don't do it? You know why?

No, you can't play your second quest, when your first quest is still active (in process). You need to finish your first quest first to play your second quest. Case closed.

Cut Healing Rain for Antique Healbot would be my suggestions. Jade Shaman is an proactive Deck, i feel there is no place for a card like Healing Rain. :P

For enemys Aggression I recommand the new AoE elemental and Maelstorm, the rest is not needed. Jade Shaman has his big Dudes to clear things up.

Obvious synergy with the 6-mana weapon and the quest. It reminds me on Shieldmaiden and I doubt that it will grants you the effect more than one time. That's why i guess it's not good enough, because a meta where Dr. Boom and his mechs are a thing, it's not needed.

But a card for arena for sure.

And there's no such thing as neutral minions. You're totally right, my bad

Sure, have fun with your amani berserkers and crystalizers in a meta where even zoolock with their flame imps and life tap are struggling to keep up.

I remember a time, where Evenpaladin was a thing and he did run Amani Beserker or when an legend player like TrumpSC rated "Caverns below, 1 star". Just wait and see how the new meta evolves and your trys to say sth about the new meta fails.

I guess T5 hate Cutlass, so they create this new weapon HP for Burgle-Rogue. It's a secret ban, because this quest makes Cutlass bad.

Dinomancy wasnt  secure at your opening hand, you didnt want to include two of them just to increase finding chance, because it wouldnt result in an upgraded dinomancy, and at the end +2/2 is less then +3/5 by a lot

That's an additional point. T5 made Hunters Dinomancy a joke against this.

That's an amazing HP reward for a mainly tempo class. Being able to constantly equip a Fiery War Axe+Candleshot weapon is fantastic. Completing this by turn 4-5, which is realistic, will be huge.

My worry is most of Rogue's burgle cards will be ineffective in mirror matches (Pilfer, Blink Fox), making this reliant on Hench-Clan Burglar and I guess Pharaoh Cat, unless I'm forgetting some other burgle cards. Does Violet Haze count?

Pilfer isn't upgraded in ooC, but it's worded like Hench-Clan-Burglar, so its grants you also cards from other classes in mirror matches.

On topic: Such a great HP, reminds me on Oddrogue, but with a better weapon a bit later. Could be too strong, but we will see.

It‘s allmost impossible that this won’t see play.

Almost, yeah. I remember that people was hyped about Dinomancy (crys in the corner) too for hunter, but this card never saw play aside from some few guys (1%?) of the community. May be it was just hunter, even hunter had more access to board-specific-decks. So it is possible that priest, who is a control class and don't had many good curve minions won't play this quest too, because it's not worth it.

But the chances are at least higher than with Hunter, because this hero power is more versatile, because you can still heal yourself or buff minions. Time will tell.

It was the greatest mistake to make this odd/even mechanic for constructed format.

No, it's not. You have more bombs in wild than Odd/Even. Wild is called w i l d for a reason.

With your arguements Highlander decks are an mistake too, because they grant you  strong cards for deck restriction and by that Genn and Baku restricts your deck even more, but they are fine just because they don't have immidiate value? Most of the Baku/Genn Decks aren't even played, only 3 Decks Evenshaman and Oddpaladin and occasionally Evenlock. This decks, because they have cards that synergise with their heropower and get sth. on board. So it's always a board fight vs those swarm decks. Every control deck can manage this.

I played 2-3 games this night two was against Evenshaman and one vs Combo/Shuddershaman on R4; and which matchup I hated more? Shudder, because it wasn't very interactive at all with their combo pieces on mass. It feels frustrating and feels like it has no weakness except fast decks. But I guess I just took the wrong deck, the weak Questwarrior with Odd package. Losing to Evenshaman on the other side wasn't frustrating at all, only one thing that i hated, buts just HS in general, he won the brawl with a full board and got his sea giant survived into t8 Lichking play. Same goes too Oddpally both are similiar, but i don't think their are unfair, because they actually need to fight for the board and that's what I like on HS, when decks fights for the board, while Freezemage or Shudderwock/Combo don't require a board.

But these decks also belongs to wild and have their weaknesses, so I don't demand nerfs to them, because they are frustrating to play against, but not oppressive at all compared other nerfed decks like Naga or  old Questrogue, which I miss, because I liked to punish combo decks with it :(.

Genn and baku are cards that provide their effects without their cards having to be drawn, let alone played. From turn one, every single game, you get a permanent "bonus" that considerably improves what you as a player can do independent of any cards you drew. That's the crux of the design problem: hearthstone is a card game balanced around having to draw and play your cards and these two just shit all over the fundamental balancing mechanism of the game, from the start of the game, every game.

You have to sacrofice your deckbuilding possiblity and limit your deck choice to either odd or even. It's balanced, just adapt your playstyle and get better.

Odd pally has a weakness early boardclear, devolve. Just wait till the expansion settles and i guess u will stop crying over Odd than more about our new mage overlords with their Quest and Vargoth. :D
