Damn I just wish its cost was even... This will be amazing to dilute resurrection pools and ruin Big Priests day. There are not many high health high mana cost murlocs. Even if your opponents murlocs high roll this will make unmanageable minions more manageable. Will be good against Conjurers mage too.
The idea of community quests sounds awesome! I hope that there is some sort of counter or something in game to encourage people to keep trying to complete it. Can't wait for the fire festival. Will be nice to load up on some extra gold before the next expansion.
I stopped dusting anything except extras a while ago. I saved up and didn't dust cards for a long time then once I built up a bunch of duplicates I only dust cards when I have something specific to craft and only duplicates. It has saved me a lot when cards go from crap to great and I still have them. I think the key to smart use of dust is patience. If you want something right away you pay a premium for it. If you wait then you can work the system more intelligently. This strategy works out great when cards get nerfed too as I usually have them for dusting.
Right now I only dust commons without any regard to anything.
This sounds more like a tavern brawl than an expansion. I like the concept though. Would make for some really broken decks I imagine and some fun deck building.
I think Bite, Deadly Shot, and Headcrack got changed to shittier art the change to eviscerate is so minor it doesn't really matter and the rest of the cards have better art now than the old art. I don't really care if the art on the cards becomes less sexualized or becomes censored or whatever. The card still functions the same and as an adult if I want to see art like that I can go find it. I don't need it in the game.
Why is the card art showing quick sand? Either this should be renamed to sinkhole of death or quicksand of death OR the art should show something more plague-y.
Hmm if this works with the coin then you get a one turn jump on the process by burning the coin on turn 1 and then playing this. Then you only have to play behind the curve for 3 more turns instead of 4.
My intuition says it's probably better to use the coin to get ahead on board early to compensate for all the turns you'll be forced to play behind the curve. Assuming the card is viable at all, of course. EG you could coin a 2 drop on turn one into quest: pass on turn two.
That is a good thought. It would be interesting if HSReplays or some other site like that could parse the math over each strategy to see which one is better. I can see yours working out better because then you get that turn 2 damage swing or some other turn 2 bonus from already having a minion out.
Either way though it helps minimize that dead turn when you actually play the quest because your quest advances on the turn you play it.

Warlock is going to need more than two plot twists and their hero power to make this work. If more hand shuffling shenanigans comes out then this might work.
This card pretty much sets you up to hard mulligan for it every time. It is a very powerful card at neutral. My issue with it is that it is very restrictive to deck building and I thought that they were moving away from auto include type cards. I bet it will become fairly standard to turn 1 quest turn 2 this in any games where a quest is played.
I am definitely going to test it out. I think it could be good in wild even shaman. Will have to wait and see though. If it dies too quickly then it is a poor way to spend 2 mana however usually with even shaman you are flooding the board so much that this might go under the radar for a bit. If you drop this and your totemcarver on the same turn or this plus sea giant your opponent might go for the big creature first netting you more lackey's
This is an amazing totem. Will definitely want to try it in even wild shaman. If this sticks around for a couple of turns the value could be immense. We already know the lackeys are worthwhile.
As they add more of these tech cards I think they need to add some secrets that interact with them in some way. Not sure how that would look but it would be sweet if a secret had one effect if triggered and a secondary effect if it was eaten or destroyed.
Ah thanks for the correction you are correct. I forgot that your creature lasted until the beginning of your next turn. That would work. I jumped in too quickly on that one. Sorry.
