Greetings,

the first week of October has just started, and with that another season of Hearthstone. Remember to win 5 ranked games to get this month's exclusive card back and to upgrade your seasonal rewards. While this regards Constructed specifically, there are things to do in Duels too. In fact, we managed to round up a selection of 12 wins starting decks that you may want to use to increase your current MMR or, why not, have fun with something different than usual!

As usual, here below you'll find a handful of 12-win decks achieved with multiple classes, which may give you the inspiration you need to get one yourself. Have fun!

Disclaimer: some decks in this article were collected from Firestone. You can find out more about Firestone and install the app here!

In case you missed them, we published other collections of 12-win Duels starting decks to take inspiration from!

If you've had 12 win luck in Duels since the recent balance changes, be sure to add your starting decks to our site via the deckbuilder and share them in the comments below!

Moreover, if you manage to find even more 12-wins decks (maybe even your own!) and you'd like us to showcase them, please contact us on Twitter at @OutOfCardsHS or @Avalon_OOC or through an in-site ping in Private Message.

Roda's 12 Wins Token Demon Hunter

It's been a while since the last time we saw someone having success with a Duels Demon Hunter that isn't Outlander-related, and we have to go back even further if we're talking about Token DH.

Despite the release of United in Stormwind in August, this deck does not run any card from that expansion, so if you're on a budget of you just returned to Hearthstone after a long, break, you may want to give Roda's starting deck a chance.

Notable inclusion of this starting XV is Ace Hunter Kreen: sure, you usually want your tokens to die, but sometimes getting favorable trades is even more crucial.

Tip: Potion of Sparking's passive effect applies to any Illidari Initiate summoned by Illidari Strike, as well as to those summoned by Coordinated Strike, Command the Illidari and Expendable Performers - if you manage to hit this combo, opposing board-based decks won't stand the slightest chance!

Avalon's 12 Wins Spell Token Druid

Remember last meta report's AgentCroque's 12 Wins Token Druid? Well, Avalon decided to tried it by himself, and he hit the absolute nuts: Greedy Gains made most games so easy that he was able to perform a flawless run, which is something you don't see every single day. Sure, the starting deck may not be new, but at least it's a proof that the archetype is more than enough to bring home some remarkable results.

If you want to know more about the deck, be sure to check the list's dedicated page for the usual in-depth guide, with mulligan tips, playstyle tips, Active & Passive Treasures' analysis and more!

Firestone - 12 Wins Taunt Token Druid

In case you'd like to play a more minion-focused Token Druid, here's a 12 Wins starting deck directly from Firestone's archives. While Hold the Line increases your Taunts' impact on the board (trading into them will be more taxing, so you'll either have more targets for Harvest Time! or your opponent's side of the board won't be much crowded), Mummy Magic is bussing, especially with Deathrattle units that have a spawn effect - extra layers of threats are particularly good in swarm strategies, as they allow your AoE buffs and such to land with a higher probability.

Mapdreis' 12 Wins Hero Power Mage

Hero Power Mage is an archetype people started finding success with since the latest patch, and mapdreis decided to spice things up. In particular, they gave up on the Frost package and Arctic Armor's resilience for an Armor (yep, you read that right) package: Arcane Artificer, Armor Vendor, Plated Beetle, Gluttonous Ooze, Ice Barrier and Mo'arg Forgefiend all work in that direction.

Really a unique take on the archetype, and we think you too should give it a shot!

Firestone - 12 Wins Quest (Open the Waygate) Mage

Nowadays, if a Duels players hears about Quest Mage, they'll probably think about Sorcerer's Gambit shenanigans. However, as you might have noticed from the title, this is not the case: Journey to Un'Goro's Open the Waygate is still quite the card because, you know, getting to play two turns in a row is never going to be bad.

Arcane Flux and Open the Doorways are the two best tier 1 Passive Treasures you can possibly get, since they provide you the fuel you need for your Quest completion.

Firestone - 12 Wins Divine Shield Paladin

From Golden Light Divine Paladin is good, very good, and also very consistent - we all know it too well. However, what really impressed us from this list we took from Firestone is that the player included a cute Call to Arms disruption package featuring Far Watch Post and Nerub'ar Weblord, which can also be brought back by Rally!.

Benevolent Djinn is another unusual but interesting inclusion, since it grants you some form of recovery and is the only 3 mana minion you have (apart from Goody Two-Shields) for Rally! shenanigans.

All in all, a Divine Shield Paladin with a curve lower than usual, that doesn't not rely solely on From Golden Light to buy time.

Firestone - 12 Wins Weapon Rogue

Board-based decks are making a comeback? Well, just hit them in the face and then hide in the shadows. Duels Weapon Rogue is exactly what Poison Rogue is for Standard and Kingsbane Rogue was for Wild until a few months ago: build up your weapon, channel all your burst spells towards your opponent's portrait and kill them before they can overwhelm you with their board pressure.

As you might know, decks like this can be quite the glass cannon, since a Taunt-heavy opponent can make them struggle a lot. Play at your own risk!

Persia's 12 Wins Discover Warlock

Someone stop Persia: they're literally unstoppable. In fact, this is the third meta report in a row where we featured one of their 12 wins decks, which is quite the feat and shows a remarkable understanding of the Duels game mode. Congratulations!

While we have mixed feelings regarding decks whose sole deckbuilding condition is typing a certain keyword/tribe in including all cards that respect said criterion, we cannot deny the fact that Staking A Claim is very likely to become a force to be reckon with. Sure, these decks are going to fall off pretty had if you won't manage to hit the right Passive, but when they do, chances are you're going to have fun and go far.

Ultrarotom's 12 Wins Legendary Warrior

Legendary Warrior is a deck you have already heard about. Since the last balance patch, people have been trying to find the best list for the archetype, and many came up with rather valid starting decks.

In particular, ultrarotom took inspiration from Persia's list and tried to build the archetype in a way that you won't fall off in case you don't get Disks of Legend. In fact, they shifted to a more Rush-oriented build, which grants you synergy for Passives like Potion of Sparking and Special Delivery, pretty good alternative that increases your chances to get a useful Treasure.

On a final note, ultrarotom suggests to pick Golden Kobold in case you get Disks of Legend: while we haven't tried it ourselves, we can definitely see why!

Avalon's 12 Wins Legendary Rush Warrior

Speaking of a more Rush-oriented Legendary Warrior build, you gotta check this out.

What really pushed me to try this list was Brewster, the Brutal as recommended Signature Treasure: while its pick makes a lot of sense, it felt so strange to me, as Auto-Armaments and Scrapmetal Demolitionist have almost always been the tp-go options. Long story short, I was intrigued by the unusual choice, which definitely paid off in multiple matches. I really recommend you to give this starting deck a shot.

If you want to know more about the deck, be sure to check the list's dedicated page for the usual in-depth guide, with mulligan tips, playstyle tips, Active & Passive Treasures' analysis and more!

P.s.: Credit for the starting deck goes to TeamAmerica, Duels and Arena streamer.
