Same thoughts. But if warlock gets some good healing cards then this card becomes really good. 

Just compare this to Siphon Soul for a minute.

"Destroy a minion", not "destroy an enemy minion" so sometimes you could be forced to destroy your own minion.

Well you see, this card can easily destroy a certain obelisk with no drawback at all.

I like it. This is another tool for control warlocks, if we get more healing tools.

I also think, that this demon could potentially fit in a zoolock deck. Maybe not in the current list, which consists of many 1-drops for Magic Carpet, but certainly in something more mid-rangy. Having the ability to answer a big threat while also developing one is a massive tempo swing. Back in the day, shamans used to run Fire Elementals for the exact same reason - now, I won't deny that those can also deal some face damage, but imho the ability to kill a big minion is greater than a 3-damage ping.

Here is where those 1--1 cheapo's in your deck come in handy.

Seems great. Costly Vilespine with beefy stats.

If a midrange-y warlock comes about, I can see this making the cut pretty easily.
Control still needs heal, but this is obviously a king in that deck if heal materializes.

Not really. You dont want to kill your own minions to take less damage. Might as well play Illidan instead lol. This card is for tempo turns. Not sure if it will see play in constructed in Standard, but it should find its some in almost any WL deck in Wild, where you have more demon synergy and healing. Insane arena card too.

The fact that this is a demon means that it won't see play in most WL decks in wild. Besides Renolock, most WL decks are combo of some sort and want to Sense Demons for Voidcaller + Voidlord. They don't want this thing to screw up the demon pull.

Trust me, against aggro, you need to cheat out that early Voidlord, and sometimes even Mal'Ganis isn't enough, so this really won't be. (Infact, most people don't run Mal'Ganis in their combo warlocks, myself included, for this reason. You need the consistency of only having Voidcaller and Voidlord)

I like it. Could be seen as a 1off on an aggressive zoo list to answer random big taunts without compromising your early game too much. Although, in that scenario, this card is mostly just a tech option (if zoo becomes powerful for tournament play, this card can definitely see play on your secondary/terciary deck).

There's a 100% chance this card becomes an auto-include in control warlock if control warlock becomes a thing (which on the strength of classic cards alone it's almost there). 6 mana to destroy an opposing minion and put a 7/5 on the board?? They'll include healing in their deck the way classic control warlock did, living on the knife's edge. Unless more heavy aggro decks appear, control warlock might make a return.

The Demon pool might be at the strongest point I've ever seen in standard at the moment.  Dark Possession is worth a serious look in a sacrifice style deck.  Bane of Doom is slightly better.  Demonic Project is probably too risky now.  Better too go with the Dirty Rat clones.

Its quite simple, really : they print new demons - that aren't imps - I get excited!

Might be the best pure card I've seen this set. If it doesn't see play it will only be because warlock is a dead class.
