I had the same experience (non-heroic) except I had the lifesteal weapon and overloading discover hero power.

Add in some deck buffing dudes and a shudderwock and I had enough tools to control and defeat Tekhan.

Hmmm.. is it me or did we get the same kind of statement just after the card art changes for Headcrack , Secretkeeper etc

Seems China is not influencing Blizzard on a lot of decisions lately.

Wait what about the hunter cards?

I think Lock and Load without Cloaked Huntress might be useless but Call of the Wild should be worth something right?

Always enjoy seeing a Hunter OTK idea :)

But just so I make sure I understand, does the combo require killing off an Oblivitron (so you can trigger it via Nine Lives) and then playing it again so you can activate it with Play Dead?  But then it looks like a TTK as you need Oblivitron to stick for a turn so you can drop Necromechanic (4) + Nine Lives (3) + Play Dead (1) + Hero Power the next turn.  Am I reading things correctly?

My first instinct is to try building a Jepetto deck.  For example, what if we ran 2x Galvanizer, 2x Mechwarper, 2x Stitched Tracker, and 2x Faceless Manipulator in addition to Jepetto, Ursatron, and maybe Thaurissan or Zola the Gorgon?

If you can drop the Galvanizers on your Mechwarpers and at least 1 Clockwork Automaton, the warpers would be 0-cost and you could get the Automaton down to 1-cost (or zero if you get another Galvanizer/Warper via Stitched Tracker or Zola).  Then if you're able to Jepetto the Faceless Manipulators or the remaining Automaton you could play the remaining one of those three at its normal cost and still have enough mana left over to hero power.  Though in retrospect this may be more difficult than the Oblivitron strategy ;D

Sounds doable! That's a deck idea to experiment with.. Careful with mechwarpers though- board space could be an issue.

The current one was inspired by a friend opening Oblivitron and saying it's useless though so that's where I'm heading rn..

Good find on galvanizers- they'd make things way easier.

Stitched Strackers are good way to get more automatons.. unreliable but good for curve..

Jepetto hitting the Oblivitron would be the dream but we need an alternative path.

The link to the deck is broken!

There's actually no deck yet lol. That was a misclick trying to fix grammar mistakes before my lunch break ends. What I'm looking for is the best way to get the 4 automatons, ( both the shuffling and the drawing) .

Jepetto Joybuzz could be an alternative too.. I want the reactor core powered steady shot

Just another wacky idea to make a relatively bad card work.. Haven't checked if this has been done yet either.

Combo would be Necromechanic+Nine Lives+Play Dead on Oblivitron  with 4 clockwork automaton in hand..

This means you gotta shuffle at least 3 automatons in deck and draw 4 (easy with Ursatron and maybe Witchwood Piper)

A tick of thaurissan would allow 2 play deads but thats even riskier

Edits: lots of grammar fixing cause my break's over.

Man these cards did nothing wrong and were balanced, why did they have to be moved from wild :Kappa:

I do want to see what cards exactly are coming back though ... Sylvanas+Nine lives being standard for example is great !

I'm also curious to find out if that fit into the E.V.I.L. v/s L.o.E storyline.. maybe Deathwing will be back too ..

I used to play deathwing in dragon hunter deck with two copies of Seeping Oozeling. Obiviously not very succesfull deck, but it was always awesome to win after summoning 4+ big ass dragons

This sounds doable.. secrets/cheap spells for early game, Master's Calls to get the big drakes ( all but deathwing) and Witchwood Piper for the oozeling draw. Maybe The Curator somewhere in there..

    I can see that work.

I totally agree.  Brann is ok; the change wasn't that drastic but Sir Finley's art and character in the videos suggest he's suffered the consequences of a Devolve and some.. He's been fine in the adventure though. Just the looks.

As for Elise I don't mind saying it's an increase in confidence/ character maturing.

Then again I never played WoW so I really only know what LoE showed.

With SoU bringing back so many key characters from WoW I expected at least some special dialogues.

It's kinda disappointing that nothing happens between two on-board Branns or Reno or between the Elise hero and any of the now numerous Elises (seriously - this is getting out of hand).

And these are just the obvious ones - nothing like "You'll pay! For Rhonin!" where you'd have to know the lore to get it.

Now I understand mobile storage is limited and also something about indie company but what in your opinion should've been some catchphrases ?

I can't believe I missed how good this was in quest hunter ( The Marsh Queen ).

It can singlehandedly complete the quest with stuff like Play Dead or Nine Lives and is a good defensive option. No need for a deckfull of 1-drops.

Almost forgot to post my version .

Made that deck before this thread so I might steal some of your ideas to improve it  :P

Sounds kinda fun - i do not play wild, only standard so forgive me if i forgot to implement a good card :)

    [...]

Should be pretty forthcoming - play Quest and try to get the the reward - afterwards you can either put copys in the deck using Dire Frenzy , use Ramkahen Wildtamer or simply just play Baleful Banker - the Brewmaster is in there so you can bounce back the Tamer or the Banker - or simply just Carnassa :)

And of course cou can put yor Zola the Gorgon on Carnassa too :)

I only fixated on getting copys of Carnassa so i'm not sure if the deck can survive long enough to do so - maybe it needs some changes :)

I also only added Zul Jin so he could replay the Frenzy and Deadly Shot but i guess this is not enough to play him so he could be easily replaced - but if we would change the deck to somekind of Hunting Party variant we could play him :)

Looks good! So that's the 1-drop spam strategy. Crystaliser provides armour so maybe a bit of heal would be nice.. the Vicious Scalehide+Dire frenzy combo is usually good enough or an antique healbot that you could bounce in a pinch.

Edit: I noticed the Augmented Elekk in there- nice!

That's one idea yea.. but you need a deck to go with it -  spells or secrets? Or are you going with the typical 1-drop spamm?

Also technically it's 5 since Zuljin replays quest and the brood completes it

I usually build a basic frame around ideas I get then ask the people for options to test..

This time it's a blank page and a challenge: build a quest hunter deck trying to get as many Queen Carnassa as possible. Minimum of 3 and you don't even have to play them all- just get a lot.

Little tip: Zul'jin replays The Marsh Queen

After testing the vault quest I realised it's not as exciting as paying a 5 mana 8/8 and seeing the raptors rush to your deck.

Excited to see if anything good pops up.. I got a deck but Ill share later.

Got it first try thanks to Shudderwocks+Thekal + a Healing rain Hagatha token.

At some point I was at 7 health but had Crystalsmith Kangor + 2 Hallazeal the Ascended on board with Eye for an Eye in play..  plague starts going face for lethal with a 4 attack murloc and I heal for 16. Had no idea it worked that way.

I guess Ill drop an update on the deck..

It hovers at around 50% win rate but over multiple versions  so final version needs to be confirmed. Loved murdering a quest priest and beating a token druid at his own game. Against secret mage it's straight up a race.

-I don't like cult master;  I often have a full board of tokens so it's almost an Octosari.. can't contain that much draw power.

    - gonna try scav hyena and tundra rhino. They're beasts so they fit the theme Im going for which is "Rexxar's Horde of Beasts"

-The secrets are staying.. turn 5 subject 9 is too strong. I might try different secrets but secrets there will be.
