The make or break treant card. The amount of suboptimal cards the deck runs right now make it really inconsistent, like Nourish and Overflow. In my opinion, if treant druid works, it will be because of this card.
If you find a aggro Druid deck that doesn't need tokens and gets enough resources generated by loads of draw, this card is bonkers. So, this is a "take an aggro deck and turn it into a midrange deck" card, making it more of a card to play against slower match-ups. In aggro vs aggro, you want the tempo rather than the stat.
Pretty good card, now you don't have to lose attacks to make your treants bigger, like you did with Treespeaker. However, it's still a 7 drop on an archetype that would like to win the game by turn 7 with Savage Roar shenanigans, making it less of a archetype enabler.
The Dragons overall seem like they are pretty good statwise (the weakest dragons in standard are Faerie Dragon and Brightwing). So the dragons summoned are pretty reliable. Which turns into the follow-up question: is Ysera, Unleashed herself good? Honestly, it depends: if your deck is low on cards, you can reliably summon a lot of dragons really fast. However, it's still a 9 mana card without and immediate impact on board. And aggro got some tools making greedy decks less good overall, which means, even in dragon decks, Ysera might get cut off in favor of more pro-active dragons.
I'm running Mogu Fleshshaper in a control Shaman deck without any sort of evolving shenanigans. It still feels like a really good answer against board flood.
Regarding the nerfing policy T5 is having right now, it's a fact that SoU was a very powerful expansion overall and DoD seems to be going the same path with the cards released so far. When you add some of the most powerful cards in wild, the game feels very brutal when it comes to punishing blows.
The moment when you want to increase your chances to get the bundle but your social media footprint aside from discord and youtube/twitch is virtually zero :^ )
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said by American University, not in the sense that their message is outright wrong, but because their sign included "boycott Blizzard" in it. With those words, Activision-Blizzard can strip them of any winnings they might get from the tournament aleging "boycott Blizzard" as the reason to do so. A sign with just "free Hong Kong" would have the exact same effect without a scapegoat for Activision-Blizzard to pry on.
"What's that? You played a card? Here, let's disconnect you and reconnect after your turn ended. Oh! And the card you played? Sorry, it didn't resolve."
This for two games in a row. And no, no Internet issues whatsoever. Proof is I was watching HGG in my phone with the same internet connection.
"Play 30 Rogue cards daily, uh?", I think, as I load up the game "Well, who needs ranks, gonna bust out quest Rogue, what's the worst that can happen?"
Well, I go undefeated from rank 8 all the way to 5, with some really cool games in the mix (though, in one of them, I misplayed for like 15 turns in a row and still won), especially this one: https://hsreplay.net/replay/f7wSmSdtCcRQHbybQYheK5 vs a zoo Paladin, where I had to live dangerously at 1 HP for 2 turns before Zilliax could finally stabilize.
The thing about the token actor idea I disagree with is that the 1/1 is still a Y'Shaarj or a Rag or a Obsidian or a Lich King or any powerful minion. Sure Resurrecting it only makes it still be a 1/1.
However, the issue is that it is still a powerful late game effect being played in the early part of the game. Also, this idea is heavily targeted only to tone down Big Priest and ignores that Barnes is a Neutral card. This idea will only kill Barnes from being played in other Classes.
If Barnes was a Priest card, I would fully 100% support this idea but it is not.
Actually the Actor would be a Vanilla 1/1. Any effect it would gain would be out of Barnes' battlecry, therefore the resurrested Actor would not be any good to be in the resurrection pool.
Even the idea of an Actor token won't work cos it is still turn 4/3 big minion cos it is too early and too fast for the opponent to handle. Hence, the only logical way to nerf it is a 1 Mana increase to 5 Mana.
The idea of the actor (which would come out as a 1/1 with the effect of a minion in your deck, making it a 4 mana 4/5 effectively) was so Big Priest would not be able to resurrect their biggest minions because they highrolled Barnes while allowing the card to keep its original design. As a change, it would have been much more elegant than the one they ended up with. But Spell Hunter/Renounce Spell Warlock with Barnes + Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound also needed the nerf as they were slaughtering wild as well, I guess.
While Conjurer’s Calling is a powerful tool that’s found in a number of Mage decks, when used in decks focused around cards like Mountain Giant and Sea Giant, it was creating extremely powerful board states at a point in the game where opponents didn’t have effective answers.
Ok T5, then how about changing the cards that let to the "powerful board states" be changed? Because, let's face it, there will eventually be more cards that will be broken more because of 4 mana 8/8s than because of the card's own power level. And yes, [Hearthstone Card (Conjurer’s Calling) Not Found] at 4 is still good, but the combos with the Giants will still show up in the mid game, even if a bit less often.
Highlander Mage will change dramatically because of these changes, I think. With both Conjurer's Calling (which is still viable, btw) and LPG changed, I believe the deck will focus less on being a cheat out big boys and more of a value generation focused deck. So, I can actually see it being more fun to play with and against.
Well, rip 7 meme. But in all honesty, this is how the card should be if it is to keep its rotating hero power and, more importantly, its Battlecry as is. The thing is, I can actually see a more tempo focused Bomb Warrior as the new big Warrior archetype. Maybe even slapping the Quest for shits and giggles.
Or, with this big nerf to Control Warrior, the now existing Tempo Warrior can have its time to shine.
Question: will [Hearthstone Card (More Arms) Not Found] also be bumped to 3 mana? Because, when I originally saw the card at Boomsday, I thought that it would have been good but not broken with Extra Arms and [Hearthstone Card (More Arms) Not Found] at 2, making it a sligthly more expensive Blessing of Kings but with added flexibility. With both parts being at 3 mana, the deck will go back to unplayable status again, imo.
They need to nerf the idea that each class will always have the same strenghts/ weaknesses (remember the hot mess that was?)
They also need to nerf the idea of an evergreen set. Using tools from older sets to make a rotating set could be more interesting even in a class identity perpective, allowing them to make expansions using different sets so they can toy more with said class identities. Or, even better, instead of older cards, have a much bigger classic set which constantly rotates among itself. That way, they can make one year centered around mana cheating while sending of Mountain Giant for that year, for example.
Oh, and they also need to nerf how expensive the game is. I've done every single daily quest for over 5 years while having spent around 150€ and my collection is very lacking, almost to a comical extent. But hey, we all know Activision is a very not-greedy company, right? [/s]
Really good card for token Druid. Even the second effect allows for favorable trades.
Powerful card. Wild Growth was THE druid card until it got nerfed.

Gadgetzan Auctioneer engine for OTK decks. The requirement seems too tempo heavy to really be good, however.

Kibler did the right thing, in the right way.

Surviving against a Zoo Paladin with 1 HP with Quest Rogue is my favorite moment so far.
