I have no regrets crafting Kayn Sunfury because that card is 100% getting nerfed. My opponent had a weapon, no board, and did 15 to my face, bypassing three taunts. It just seems to violate the rule of interactivity, far worse than even something like the original Patches. He was aided by mana discounts from Skull of Guldan - another card that seems OP. It's not that difficult to be patient on Outcast in general let alone for a control card. Nerf Kayn to 6-mana and nerf Skull of Guldan's Outcast to a 2-mana discount per card (which is still great!).
The pinging cards also seem over-statted, but I haven't played with/against them enough yet to have a suggestion.
While I'm generally skeptical of the dormant cards, the 2-cost ones seem good/strong to me. Anything that can be played in lieu of a hero power seems good enough. Sometimes pinging for one is great, and sometimes it's just a way to pass a turn. There's a lot of situations where the 3/5 rush coming online in two turns is absolutely worth it. It seems more a question of whether or not it's worth a deck slot than if the card's power level is strong enough on its own.
I'm so glad they did this, and very glad with how happy the community is about it. I wouldn't mind seeing them revamp 1 or 2 classes each expansion (not just rotation). Warrior next please!
I don't even play Wild but the Raza unnerf has me concerned. I HATED playing against that. Maybe it will be fine with the global nerf to Holy Smite and other Priest changes.
He was a little awkward the first time out (I forget if that was before after Ben Brode left), but has gotten better each time to the point where he's legitimately hilarious. The nine minute video is easily their best production yet. Everyone involved deserves praise.
I hope we're getting these articles because someone with insider knowledge of the event a few weeks ago knows there's changes coming to Basic/Classic. If true, please either ignore this comment or issue a denial :)
Rat Trap: I hit legend for the first time with secret highlander Hunter shortly after the release of Uldum. Rat Trap is such an excellent secret to have in the mix since its mechanics are so different from the other traps. It won several games for me, either through its triggering or my opponents being forced to play around it.
Spectral Cutlass: I detested infinite lifesteal Kingsbane rogue, and was happy when that got nerfed. This was a fun alternative that felt fair. The burgle cards weren't always that strong, and sometimes you got weird or expensive cards that you'd have to make a decision on to keep your durability up.
Mossy Horror: This card isn't seeing as much play, but it was a fun control card to throw in a deck. It also shined in Arena more than one would expect. Again, just a very fair card, but oh so satisfying when played against the right board.
I started getting them to 8, and now I'm focused on getting them each to 16 (the second Champion Capsule). Between daily PvP bonuses and daily quests you can usually knock out a level per day until you get to around 13.
Typo in your recap of Commander Ledros. Nexus *damage* was already rounded up (so to speak). It is being changed so that Nexus *health* is rounded up. This is a large and appreciated change because the card can't kill you from 1-health now. It will still be a perpetual threat, but it doesn't put you on quite as strict of a clock. And just generally this game often comes down to 1HP, and putting you at 2 or 3 health from 5 is a huge difference.
I just looked. 56% WR for Demon Hunter and all other classes under 45%. LOL.

I'm really shocked that Evocation didn't make the top 10. Strong list either way though.
I think it drops on Thursday the 2nd.
All the primes are bonkers. The three that I want to play with the most.
God, remember when it cost 0. Jesus.
Need clarification on Excess Mana, the least explained mechanic in the game.

Broken card. Mass Dispel plus a 3/5 charge. Insane.

Your lack of collection manager discussion is hyping me up! There's been a lot of hints, but finally, finally, changes to Classic and Basic!

Thanks. Love this LoR content.

We're supposed to be getting a balance patch, tomorrow, correct?
