Ok, when I read this one, I imagine the frenzy effect sends a copy of the card, with a buff, into your deck, which would mean a 3/4 with frenzy that then shuffles a copy of itself into the deck with frenzy, and so on. This being part of an expansion, along with info that all classes will have some access to card draw, means that this guy could end up being seen a LOT. That bit about "permanent" +2/+1 makes me wonder. . . when that 3/4 gets hit and shuffles, is it adding that 2/1 to a 3/4, giving you a 5/5 with frenzy in your deck? That seems kinda bananas, i would assume it's shuffling a 1.0 Sunscale in there, giving you bunches of 3/4 raptors.

Of course, if all this thing does is shuffle a 3/4 raptor with no frenzy, then it's just an ok to good 1 drop.

I am 99.9% certain that "permenent" means it will, in a sense, buff the base stats. Meaning that the shuffled copy won't be a 1/3 with a +2/+1 buff, but a 3/4 with no buff. So yes, the buffs will stack. If they didn't stack the card wouldn't really make sense. And even though it does stack, I don't think it will be OP. By the time you have gotten it to a 1 mana 5/5, you will have had to draw, play, and trigger the same dinosaur 3 times. At the point in the game a 1 mana 5/5 isn't really that crazy.

Yes, "permanent" means it actually changes the card, a lot like Corrupt permanently changes the card.

And if you're drawing this with Scavenger's Ingenuity, it will definitely get crazy.

Good for cycling and control but in all honesty, what would you use this for?

Umm ... you'd use it for cycling and control?

    Was that a trick question?

It serves a purpose similar to that of Armor Vendor, which has been seeing a lot of play in control decks, but being a 0-cost spell makes it a lot more useful to a Priest.

Too weak as it is - but depends very much on the availability of handbuff mechanics or cheap attack buff spells, have to watch wait for this

It's already a full enemy-only board clear with Plague Scientist. It does not need to get stronger than that.

(And if you only need to clear small- to medium-sized minions, Cold Blood works just fine.)

The Rng part is stupid they could of just made it select 2 enemy minons.

No, they couldn't. There is no effect in the game that allows you to make two selections. They'd have to add new functionality to the UI, and they are not going to do that for the sake of one spell.

I'm not saying they will never do that -- in fact, they probably should at some point. But not now, and not for just one card.

It's a matter of critical mass. The more Charge tools they have to work with, the more dangerous the deck becomes.

Seems pretty clear this is a tiny detail on a card zoomed way in, a tactic they use all the time during reveal season. I'll be very surprised if this character is the real focus of the new card.

This is what they should have done in the first place. The change from Charge to Rush makes them completely different minions, beyond the scope of what a tweak for Core should be. You shouldn't destroy entire archetypes in Wild for the sake of keeping some old card art alive in Core.

Of course, cards like these are the reason I stay away from Wild, but to each their own.

Fun fact about player greed: Nothing is ever good enough for some people. Even though pretty much everyone agrees that the reward track gives out significantly more gold than the old system, you still find something to complain about.

Also, they promised seasonal events that would add to the overall value of free stuff. I don't recall XP being mentioned specifically. If you're not happy with the free packs you got, please send them my way. I can always use more dust.

Honestly, it would have been crazy to do the drawing before the final reveal. There's absolutely no reason to feel guilty about it. It's unfortunate that Blizzard put you in this position.

It's not like you swap roles every 5 seconds in WoW.

What they really need to do is let you choose from several different hero powers when you build a deck. In fact, this is something they should be doing in all classes at this point. Just think how many times we've tried to build archetypes that almost work but lack support from the hero power, so they never quite get there. I mean, they've flirted with this idea from the beginning with Shadow Priest, and obviously it's already a thing in Duels. Why not just take the plunge already?

FWIW, they did finally update the shop (after your post). You can pre-order through March 29.

Raising it to 2 mana does not kill the card. Since it's the most expected nerf, I'm sure this is a leak, not a typo.

Adding more damage along with the mana increase would arguably make the card stronger than it is now -- still extremely easy to corrupt and super cheap to play, but adding a TON more damage per mana on a durable weapon. I would not want to see that.

They already did Death Knight. It isn't a "class" per se, but it's already in Hearthstone, and it would be super weird to add it a second time in a different way.

How is it exciting that Monk is "hinted"? It's the only WoW class left to add to HS.

The only interesting part of that is that it was hinted in a negative, which might imply that they would rather skip Monk and add something non-WoW (i.e., unique to HS) instead.

Either way, I very sincerely hope they are a lot more careful with the next class than they were with Demon Hunter. DH is probably going to be fairly reasonable after rotation, but this first year has been pretty unpleasant.

Agree, many of Kripp's opinions were ... questionable ... even when he played more often.

Doom in the Tomb also just went on for a little too long. Next time, I think we'd do it at the end of an expansion for no more than a couple weeks.

I disagree. Doom in the Tomb went on WAY too long. Even two weeks of that garbage would have been too much.

In fact, Doom in the Tomb is one of the primary factors that led to my taking a break from Hearthstone for the first two Phoenix expansions. Team 5 slowly earned back some trust by being quicker to fix problem metas during that time. (Yes, I paid attention even though I wasn't playing.) But I will not put up with anything like that ever again.

UGH. I was hoping they'd skip the theorycrafting event and actually launch on time.

This is a much bigger disappointment than the dumb ol' Tavern Brawl.

I'm never disappointed in Tavern Brawl because I never expect it to be all that interesting.

It's fine, and I don't mind playing for the free pack, but it's never been something I look forward to or whatever.

    Next Monday?!

I hope they're cramming it all into one week! (But, wow, they're cramming it all into one week?!)

I wonder how this card can be utilised in current archetypes...

Unless you're talking about Wild, there's no point in wondering about that. At the yearly rotation, all existing archetypes should change drastically. Many fall by the wayside, and new ones rise up to take their place. If that doesn't happen -- especially this year -- Team 5 has done something horribly wrong.
