    Technically that's one word...

I don't know what it is but something about the art on the Rank 3 one reminds me of Xenoblade Chronicles.

That said, strange card, seems weak in a vacuum but we'll probably see some spicy Holy spell-interacting cards, so they'll have to be judged with this. One fringe benefit is that you can run this alongside the new Kazakus as a replacement for Holy Nova.

The thing is, though, that we should expect some spell school synergy cards, especially in the mini-set (I don't have the source but they said this at some point). That means there will probably either be some form of Holy spell damage or something that benefits from casting Holy spells. Also keep in mind that this is technically an alternate to Holy Nova if you want to run the new Kazakus card.

I don't think this is exclusive to Control Warrior. If they get some juicy handbuff stuff alongside cards like Overlord Runthak, we may see some midrange handbuff Warrior decks rise. That said, the only real ways to get the "attacked this turn" effect to trigger is via Sword Eater and Reaper's Scythe, meaning Warrior will also need to see some strong weapons or ways to attack to make this consistent enough to see play.

Mage's also requires a secret in play, whereas you can play Sword Eater and then this on curve.

This is extreme jank, but with the new Overlord Runthak, it's technically possible to handbuff Recurring Villain then play it with Spiritsinger Umbra to instantly complete the quest. This combo is actually just playable with any class, now that i think about it.

I've been reading up on some forums, and I felt the need to say this because nobody seems to understand: data is expensive. You can't just "save all the data in a bunch of data centres" because that costs too much. A 1 terabyte hard drive already runs upwards of $140, and you also have to pay for security and bandwidth and a whole bunch of stuff. If people could save their data everywhere, then they would.

EDIT: Should probably point out that I don't work in IT. My knowledge comes from my friends that do.

Sylvanas is going to come back, just not yet apparently. And while you're waiting, why not pick up a nice Rogue skin as well?

Yeah, Firestone has a feature that tracks the packs you've opened and counts down to your pity timer for epics and legendaries. Unfortunately it only starts counting from after you've installed it.

And no, computers don't magically stop functioning for one person and nobody else. Computers don't make mistakes and there are no exceptions, people make mistakes. The computer does exactly what it is told to do and it follows through. The code of a game doesn't change unless you yourself messed with the game files. The only way something like this could have made through is if there was a patch recently that had an error in it that caused this bug. If there genuinely is a mistake in the game's code, then everyone would be experiencing this bug, because that's how server-side patches work. The fact that nobody else seems to be experiencing this indicates it is not a server-side issue.

Therefore the only other possibility is that it's a client-side issue, meaning your own computer is acting up. Either you've messed with the game files or your computer has. A simple solution is to just fix the game files from the Battle.net app, or just try restarting your computer. If neither of these work, then it's not a client-side issue.

If you had tracked your packs and shown proof that you've opened more than 40, then this becomes much more believable. But currently, nobody else has this issue, so you're most likely just remembering wrong.

I agree with the Garona fight being poorly designed, since the only way I won was by getting Mirror Image from Wand Thief. I had no problem with the Shadows encounter because I figured out a strategy that always gave me the right resources to deal with the shadows, regardless of the order they came out in. It was something along the lines of having both Sabotages, Hooked Scimitar with a bunch of weapon buffs, No Mercy and Blade Flurry and a poisonous Knife Juggler. I helped 5 other people do the encounter, and it worked every time even if the shadows came in a different order.

This is just my opinion: I really enjoyed this one. I like the fact that these were not easy, the challenge is what makes it fun. I do agree that it straddles the line between challenging and just annoying, but I like that the fixed RNG makes it so that you have to figure out the best play in the situation, and you're not reliant on drawing the right cards. I hated the Gronn fight because if you did not get an explosive trap by the time he played that Troublemaker-esque card, you instantly lose. Same thing goes for not drawing a Gronn Trap, and you have to hope that he doesn't have any hard removal.

However, the one that puts you to 18 health on turn 2 is definitely frustrating. But even in that scenario, it's just like a puzzle: find out which plays sets you up the best for the next turn, and the next, and so on. It's not an excuse for making a completely unfair fight, but I enjoy the feeling of using my resources to the best of my ability to come out on top.

Stuff like this is what makes me wish there was a better way to see your opponent's cardbacks during a match. Maybe make it more like Runeterra, where your deck sits off to the side? That way you can see more of the cardbacks much clearer in game.

I think Air totem removal makes more sense from a balance perspective. You have a 25% chance of getting one more damage on all of your spells, which has won me many games. There are also cases where I have lost because I didn't roll the spell damage and couldn't get lethal or clear the board. It's true that now you will always lose those games that you could have won with the spell damage totem, but in general, I think it's a good change to reduce the level of RNG that can significantly sway the game. And besides, it looks like Blizzard likes the idea of spell damage Shaman, which means they will get a lot more consistent sources of spell damage.

These cards aren't gone forever. There is a good chance that they will come back in a later year when Blizzard thinks the time is right. Besides, balance and "fun" take precedence over being a 100% accurate depiction of the WoW universe.

Almost everyone on Reddit argues that the Tracking change is a nerf, and the way they justify it just sounds like people who try to make themselves look better than they are because they understand the "difficult to comprehend" value of deck thinning.

Discarding or burning cards from your deck almost never has any influence on the outcome of the game, since it's as if you never drew the cards in the first place. Tickatus is different because it mills so many cards, so it has a very high chance of putting you into fatigue several turns earlier and getting rid of your resources. In the case of old Tracking, the two cards that are discarded are often inconsequential. It can be seen as if Tracking always looked at the bottom 3 cards of your deck.

Hunter doesn't have the capability to consistently reach the point of the game where those 2 cards matter in or close to fatigue anyways (if you are in that situation, you're Huntering wrong), so you can't necessarily say that the discard is always a downside either. As you said, it comes to the situation the Tracking is used in. If you use it while you are (somehow) close to fatigue, then of course the discard vs. discover will make a large difference. On the other hand, if you use it in Deathrattle Hunter for instance and hit Oblivitron, Tonk and Rinling's Rifle, then you've put yourself in a rough spot.

There's so much changing that it's hard to say whether or not the Tracking change is better or worse. If Blizzard wants a slower combo/midrange Hunter deck to be meta (which actually looks like the case), the change could be a buff.

If there's one thing that I think we can agree on regarding the changes to Tracking, it's that it looks very strange with a rare gem in the middle.

The old Tracking would remove the other two cards from your deck, while this one doesn't. Using the old Tracking you could remove cards from your deck that you didn't want to draw later.

Where is there poor communication and spreading of misinformation? The quote from the game director literally says:

    Quote From Ben Lee
It's more in the Slay the Spire vein

There's no lack of communication, they've stated exactly what it is and the community is echoing that. If Mercenaries actually wasn't inspired by Slay the Spire, then they wouldn't have said that it was. They'd have told us where they got their idea from, or at least tell us that it's not like Slay the Spire.

I don't disagree with you that from what we know it does look a bit more like Darkest Dungeon, but there is absolutely no reason to not trust Blizzard in this case. Who cares if the new mode is actually inspired by Raid: Shadow Legends?

It's probably indicative of a special event of some kind, kinda like how in games like Slay the Spire or Monster Train, you can see which level is a shop, an upgrade, a random event or something like that. Maybe a blue gem indicates that you'll get an active treasure for beating it, maybe the red gem indicates you'll be transported to a form of Bob's Tavern, and maybe the spikes on top of some of the icons indicate they're a mini-boss.

It's a poor explanation on my part, but I don't know how exactly to say this. Hopefully you understood what I meant.
