I wonder if the ghost is also a murloc? I think it's a decent card overall, tag or no. But if both minions are murlocs, it might have slightly better use in murloc decks.
As Blizzard is consistently inconsistent, Spectral Flyer is also a Murloc. That might change eventually, as Ghostly Charger lost its Beast tag after community feedback, and Witchwood Grizzly saw the bear's color change to brown for the same "ghosts should not have tribes" reason.
Another card that seems like it's supporting rush or whatever, but actually fits very well in big warrior. You can get an early game proactive minion to contest the board before you start cheating out giants.
This isn't taunt support, it's big support. You have no minions to play early and this gives you 2 that can also block damage. An auto-include in any big warrior probably, unless they go full boardclear which I doubt would work (Garrosh ain't no priest, am I right?)
Seems much better in warrior than rogue, even with their weapon buffs. Draw is always nice, but this is kinda weakish. Pirate warrior definitely won't turn down cheap draw though.
The wild player in me says it won't work because it looks "random", a.k.a. doesn't support anything, but it could be ok in stealth rogue. Maybe a tad too slow for the deck but that could change.
So does this mean secrets will become rogue's identity now? Fun fact - early in hearthstone's design, rogues were intended to have secrets, but instead they were given to paladin because it "lacked a class identity". Seven years later, the problem is still here.
I can see this as a 1-off in an old-school control shaman. A potential boardwipe vs. aggro that also heals you to full is not something we should take for granted. Considering there's lots of token stuff happening in multiple classes, this could definitely shine.
Kinda weird. Would SD shaman use tokens as well? One aims at spell burst (no pun intended), the other at minion burst. Without spell damage, it's pretty underwhelming. Not necessarily bad in a token shaman, but totems seem to be the future of the archtype, not elementals.
It fits in just about any deck, like what deck doesn't want more minions they already played? Value for priest that isn't your opponent's (that's good), resources for zoolock and amazing synergy with self-damaging. Plus, useful with Brittlebone Destroyer and Flesh Giant. Yup, I could see this nerfed to deal 5 damage or even cost 1.
One thing I don't understand: If combo decks shouldn't even exist, then what are they doing to druid???
So aggro decks can be super broken and it's not a problem cause they'll "respond quickly" and everyone's happy. OTK decks can't even get a chance to be powerful because whenever there's some support, they also print this and Glide.
Like Animated Avalanche probably won't see play, but tbf elemental mage isn't great while SD shaman/mage could be.
Murloc don't seem to care about this rule: Ghost Light Angler
Seems underwhelming, however it could be interesting to get a 10 mana spell. Meme machine anyway.

Not that good in aggro warrior, but it's a heck of a card in control.
You can also mess with your opponent like Supercollider did.
Anything cheap that makes Lord J work gets a 5/5 from me, no questions asked.

Works well when buffed which is rogue's theme this expansion. Probably just ends up being too slow, either that or ooze.
Obviously great on curve, but an objectively worse Deadly Poison later on. Not really a problem since you can run both.

This is THE card that makes SD shaman a thing. You don't have to worry about triggering your Spellbook Binders, no awkward plays to help Arcane Watcher attack, Ras Frostwhisper can always Consecrate, Molten Blast is always a discounted Imp-losion on average. Then there's control support with empowering Earthquake and Lightning Storm, combo potential with Malygos for even more damage and guaranteed burst enchanting.

Looks decent, nothin' much but it's cool. Priest does have dragon support from DoD so this helps but idk.
Tempo priest is no joke, mark my words. This will be an interesting expansion for priest!
Nah, for 6 mana this definitely isn't good enough. A highlander deck could try it, but I don't think so.
