Cleanse - Yeah, basically the effect. I wouldn't remove it personally because White and Black as colors are literally the mechanics of the game but I don't really care anyway

I think some people might have found the name "Cleanse" in combination with its effect inappropriate. I don't play Magic the Gathering, but I also assume, that "black" is some sort of a mechanic or a minion-type there and this spell is designed to remove minions of that type from play. The usage of the word "destroy" in that context is imho not really offensive, it sounds like a game term - same as in hearthstone. I believe, that only the title is problematic and, like I've said, it's only because of the context. I would also keep the effect as it is.

I've watched the trailer a bunch of times and I can only say this:

Now this is how you make a SUPER VILLAIN PRESENTATION.

You all remember that female Demon Hunter at the end of the "Fel vs Fire" video, right?

Same hair, same horns, same armor design. It's gotta be her.

    Nice catch.

When you steal two Ice Blocks from a Secret Mage and recover afterwards. #Feelsgoodman

    Show Spoiler

Tbh I won that game, only because:

    a) I was extremely lucky (e.g. me copying Ice Blocks and Netherwind Portal summoning Arena Treasure Chest, while the opponent was desperately trying to find 3 damage to kill me);

    b) the opponent did some fatal mistakes (like playing Cloud Prince as a 4/4 body instead of saving it after popping my block);

    c) their deck was kinda weak. They ran Mirror Entity-ies instead of Duplicates, which got countered by my 1-drops.

Still, the game was really intense. After receiving two Ice Blocks, I tried to use them in a such way to gain as much time as possible. I got rewarded with Zephrys the Great and a Healing Touch. Then the mage played a bunch of 2 mana minions and I decided to play super safe and used Psychic Scream. I would like to clarify some things - I had other options like Flame Ward (Chameleos) and Soul Mirror and my opponent was deep in fatigue, but I knew one of their secrets was Netherwind Portal, so I didn't want to leave two minions on the board and risk getting killed. Fortunately for me, the aforementioned secret low-rolled and that was the final nail in the coffin.

Looks like I need to craft Raza the Chained so I can try this list! How does this fare in ranked play?

Well, last month I managed to hit Legend with it (forgot to take a screenshot then, but I will take one now, if I manage to reach it this month), but I don't consider it to be a good ladder material. Things like Chameleos, Thoughtsteal, probably Archbishop Benedictus and Madame Lazul are unnecessary. Popular Raza Priest decks concentrate on winning rather than stalling the game. They also use Potion of Madness rather than Shadow Madness, cuz it's cheaper, and they run more card cycle, in order to get to their win-condition faster. The combo itself (Anduin and Raza) is still very strong, so you won't regret crafting the latter legendary. If you care more about winning, then I'd recommend you pick a popular Raza Priest deck. If you want to have fun while laddering and you don't mind doing it slowly, then you could use the list I shared above.

Btw, even if you take a popular Raza Priest deck to the ladder, be warned that it will still lose to some popular meta-decks like Quest Mage (we don't have taunts) and Mecha'thun Warlock (that deck cycles faster than Raza Priest).

Some people know, that I am a big fan of Priest Thief decks, because I love to mess around with other players. Normally I play two versions of it in wild - N'zoth and Reno - but I can't really pick a single decklist out of those and mark it as my personal favourite. Both decktypes just have their own unique synergies and depending on my mood I choose to play either of them. This time around Raza Priest felt more exciting, so here's my decklist:

Aw man, today was a good day for stealing. 4 of my games were kinda average, but I had a glorious game versus Dude Paladin. Check it out:

-> Opponent plays Righteous Protector and uses The Coin to HP.

Turn 3: Thoughtsteal into Stand Against Darkness and Level Up!, then I use Forbidden Words on the 1/1 Taunt and trade my Conjurer with the opponent's dude.

Personally I just /ignore the friend requests, because they usually come when I win and I suspect people just want to complain about their losses. I'm not interested in listening to insults, as I prefer to concentrate on the next game and to have fun.

I honestly don't remember the very last time I accepted a friend request from a stranger, but I do remember that one time, when I played Elemental Reno Mage and got matched with a salty Beast Hunter. That game took place two years ago in the lower wild ranks. I don't remember much of it beside having good RNG and a Reno in a clutch situation. After I beat my opponent, they sent me a friend request. I dunno why I accepted it, but soon after I regretted doing so. Insults started coming in, some were directed to me, others to my family. While I didn't take those personally, I thought I could do the right thing and report that player. The guy went afk, while I was trying to figure out the report function, then I saw them having changed their name and the insults continued. This time around the dude became even more creative and used punctuation marks to express their feelings towards me. I will let you figure out on your own what those signs resembled, but just know that the dude didn't stop spamming me, untill I informed them of what I was doing. Only then did they decide to unfriend me.

Another example of why I don't add randoms: The following occurred way back in MSoG, when Pirate Warrior was a popular deck in Standard. The opponent had a big wide board, which threatened lethal. I (Renolock) coined out Reno on turn 5 and passed. On the very next turn the opponent played a charger and killed me from 30. When this happened, the warrior constantly sent me friend requests. I didn't accept any of those, as I suspected the person would only gloat over their victory, but the strange thing was how that person kept sending them long after the match. It must have been one hell of a speech they wanted to give and I denied them of this opportunity.

I often wonder what makes the better person. If you're creative on either end of the encounter maybe that is the true better person?

So, I took the time awhile back to make a little parody for flamers who add me. Looked up the lyrics for "Single Ladies" and made a parody off of it with roughly 95% original lyrics (yay!), just so that I could give myself a little personal challenge to see who, if any, flamers would stay friended to me long enough as I copy & pasted each line of my parody to them as they tried to insult me. Turns out I've actually accomplished this twice now.

First time was from this person who responded with some funny wtfs and many more stfus, but they did choose to stay friends for the whole encounter. Very interesting and a bit funny. Second person was a lot more recent than the first, said it was very cringe, but also did choose to stay for the whole thing before I unfriended.

Letter the better person (creative person) games begin I suppose!

I'm a big fan of parodies. Do you mind sharing your creation?

Man, I just experienced one of the best games as a Thief Priest for a long time. Please excuse the lack of screenshots.

So, starting off, I got matched with Togwaggle Druid and suddenly I turned into the infamous Priest version of it (well, almost):

    https://i.imgur.com/WQE46ho.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/UZ3285u.png

The funny thing is, I don't even have Murozond in my collection.

Right after my turn ended, the opponent felt threatened and they decided to pull off their own combo. At that time Raza and Anduin were still in my deck, so after many turns my druid opponent used my win-condition against me. Here's the twist though - I won at the end through the clever usage of King's Ransom from Chameleos, then the original copy in my hand (in order to answer the enemy Murozond's battlecry) and finally Murozond himself (in order to answer the King's Ransom in the opponent's hand). I also found some healing from the Cobalt Spellkin; the opponent couldn't generate enough pressure and conceded.

I had some very interesting games versus Burn Mage - three, to be exact. In 2 of those I survived thanks to copying their Ice Blocks and I beat my opponents by either playing Reno Jackson or a Seanced Cloud Prince. In the third game I went for Aluneth, because I wanted to draw my healing and AoE spells on time, and Chameleos turned into a Fireball, which helped me close the game.

The last game before reaching Diamond was against Odd Demon Hunter. Nothing too exciting happened there - I managed to draw Reno pretty early, so the win was in the bag. However he wasn't the reason why my opponent rage quit. On turn 5 I was forced to play Madame Lazul, because the opponent had used Mana Burn. I found Eye Beam and took it. A couple of turns later the opponent had a sticky, wide board, which I managed to clear thanks to Mass Hysteria and the aforementioned DH spell. When that happened, they went afk.

Ah man, I can only imagine the expression on my opponent's faces, when they see me winning thanks to their own cards. The feeling of trolling them is glorious.

in this situation, FW now costs 5 mana. Using FW would leave you with 0 mana left, and since there are no minions with 0 attack on the battlefield the spell cannot target anything. This is not a bug, this is an example of the card working as intended.

Yes, I explained the logic of this interaction in the OP. Like I've said, it used to work differently in the past. I guess the old interaction wasn't intended, so it got fixed.

Hello, everyone. Yesterday I was playing in wild and a particular Loatheb interaction caught my attention.

    https://i.imgur.com/ivDC2eP.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/JChIiRT.png

(I'm playing in German. Anduin says "I can't do that" and the error message states, that I need to target sth first.)

The reason why I am bringing this up is because the interaction between Forbidden Words and Loatheb worked differently in the past. Previously, if the opponent had played Loatheb and increased the cost of that spell, I would have still had the possibility to kill him, because I would have still used 5 mana to cast the spell. I am not sure when this interaction got changed - probably with the recent patch - but I think right now the forbidden spell wants us to use 5 extra mana, in order to compensate the temporary mana increase from Loatheb.

I would like to ask the following question - is the new interaction considered a bug or a fix to the previous one?

Could you give me a hint for 12? I have no knowledge of WoW or the Wow tcg, and I don't really feel like flipping through every weapon in the game.

Well, I am not good at giving harmless tips (especially for #12).

I want to say there aren't that many MACES in hearthstone, so it's better to look for all collectible weapons and click on the aforementioned type. If you still need a hint, write me another message.

I also stumbled upon this card trying to find the answer for #16 funny enough. My assumption is the clue dates back to WoW where the "mace" in question was used across those classes. Clue #1 is also very WoW specific

Yeah, I also thought it was WoW specific, but at first I was thinking of a legendary one-handed mace, which is very popular in Vanilla/Classic.

[edit] So, I am a noob. Sulfuras is a two-handed mace.

    https://classic.wowhead.com/item=17182/sulfuras-hand-of-ragnaros

The answer was related to WoWtcg (ty, Flux).
