Yeah, I did the very same thing. Even though my gold stash allows me to participate in this event many times over, I simply refuse to participate in this "fan favorite" scam brawliseum. I have no hope they will learn anything from the hopefully poor stats of this event.
However, if they are going to touch the mana cost of Battlefield Necromancer, I will flip a small table because it would no longer fit in my Even Unholy Death Knight deck in Wild.
It would be a pity if it does go away though. I have always liked that HSR winrate stats block whenever it was present. Especially, since it can be used as easy navigation to even more stats on the HSR site.
I first assumed that the decks you posted today would be frequently played with sufficient statistics on HSReplay.net and upon checking myself card-for-card at least the Astalor Big Spell Mage deck should show the HSR winrate box if I am not mistaken. If correct, 94000 games played would yield enough data.
None of the cards are from the Core set, so it should also not be a non-unique cards issue, I think.
As for the Even Shaman deck that I posted earlier on OoC, it also does not show the HSR winrate box even though it should be one of if not the most optimized version out there with plenty of wins. Though, since this is a Wild deck, the data is far less compared to Standard decks, so I have to take that into account as well.
Has the partnership with HSReplay.net ended perhaps? The reason why I ask is because I no longer see the plugin above frequently played HS decks any more.
I am currently at level 200 and reached the halfway point on the Rewards Track. Along the ride, I have completed all of the gameplay achievements.
It has been awhile, but I hit legend in both Standard and Wild again in the same season, this time using Evolve Shaman and Even Shaman respectively. The latter Wild deck is super consistent and it almost feels unfair to play it on the ranked ladder.
As for my Death Knight wins progress, I have recorded 361 wins so far. I have decided to NOT waste 1000 gold (or more) for the new Ghoul Queen Scarlet DK hero portrait because it is simply a "scam purchase" without guarantees, even after the requirements change.
Now I am eagerly waiting for the next balance patch and mini-set to arrive whilst steadily adding more DK wins to hopefully get my hands on the free Arthas, Kingslayer hero portrait soon™.
Thanks for the extra snow! It will stay a bit longer in my inventory. I highly doubt I will be as "competitive" again for the next edition, coz I personally feel like there should be more diversity in the list of winners for such a wonderful recurring event.
Hm, I guess Pezman was either saving up snowballs for the next Snowpocalypse or this edition "closed" a little bit earlier than expected. I noticed my snowflakes tally went up a couple of times (which probably meant I got hit by snowballs) even after I already collected the maximum daily amount a few hours before the event would finish.
Agreed, the new DK skin looks kind of meh to me. Also feels weird that the ghoul at the bottom right is drawn bigger than Scarlet herself. She should be the main focus of the hero portrait, right?
Small bug. I just noticed that the up- and downvote buttons plus counter appear after editing a direct message. Refreshing the page will make them go away again which suggests to me that this voting control is not supposed to appear there at all.
Learned something new again today, because I did not even realize before that the invited legendaries are always from other classes. This makes the clue even better. Mentioning another Paladin legendary would probably have made it too easy to solve.

Did this compensation actually happen? I did not receive any random legendary yet despite being eligible.
I have finally reached the 40000 points milestone today, so I wanted to share this achievement with you as an update.
The total amount of achievable points has increased to 46184 points, which means I am now at 87% (rounded up).
If I keep this progression up, I will likely max out at around 90%, because I do not play all Hearthstone game modes.
IMO, if the token becomes a 2/2 it is completely fine. The Risen Ghouls of Army of the Dead are 2/2 as well. The Risen Footman just has Taunt instead of Rush.

My Sixth Sense tells me that another snowball Collector is out there. A past Champion of the Contest is about to have a massive Moment of Triumph by delivering a Fatal Strike at the very end. Let us see today if my Prediction is going to Happen or not 😅
