Make sure you participate in the Game Awards event featuring Ashiok and Elspeth in MTG Arena. It's available through 12/16 and you can earn 1 pack of Theros: Beyond Death (to open upon release) for each win, up to 3 packs. You also get to play with some cards that are normally unavailable, most notably a few of the legendary "Power Nine".
There are also a few honorable mentions in the pre-constructed decks too.
I tried both decks and they seemed pretty evenly matched. I had some trouble getting started, because multiple times it just seemed like I was outmatched by an opponent who had perfect answers. I switched decks and instead of astounding starts and ridiculous curves I continued to draw absolute garbage. After a little bit of persistence everything came out okay in the end and I walked away with 3 Theros: Beyond Death packs to put in my virtual stocking.
Don't be surprised if you face Ashiok decks that draw loads of additional cards or use removal on every single unit you put on the board, or you could find yourself up against the wall with white weenie tokens wildly swinging equipment in your face by your second turn. I'd love to see more events like this, which allow you to use unavailable cards in updated scenarios. Which deck turned out to be your favorite?
If I had to guess I would say they are going to focus all their efforts on the Omnislash Game Companion for Hearthstone. With terms like "Omnislash Resource Impact" and a line graph like an EKG readout, it looks fairly complex and directed at high-end players. The app is currently in beta and should still go through quite a few changes before launch. If you're serious about Hearthstone you might want to keep an eye on it.
Omnislash has been around for several years creating content for Hearthstone with streamers like Kibler, Firebat, and Zalae, among others, but they've decided to shift gears.
To better focus our efforts, we are transitioning away from content creation and streamer representation, and will be committing all of our efforts to a data platform for players of all types.
For now they are going to be focusing on data tools for gamers/streamers. It's sad to see them go, but I'm interested to see what they create for us.
One Reddit user, MysteryMTR, commented on how slow Riot has been with any information about the dates for closed beta for LoR and a couple of Devs popped up to comment. They don't give us anything definite, but at least we know they're working hard on getting it ready as soon as possible! [source]

This is a good point, and from the outside I can imagine this being confusing or frustrating.
Underlying everything we communicate is the principle that we don't want to promise anything that we won't be able to deliver on. I think we've all experienced that as players, and Riot also has had to learn that lesson as developers.
As we're finishing our core game features for Launch, we also have to develop the capabilities to release those at quality, at scale, reliably and consistently. As more of the game is complete, we'll be able to more confidently predict when we'll have releases ready for players. But until then we're mostly just comfortable with the types of broad strokes that you've seen in our roadmap.
Exact dates WILL come, but we're not quite ready to announce anything yet.

I'm not going to confirm dates for you but I will say we are here, watching, reading, and working hard to make sure you can play your hearts out. We get happy every time we see players asking to play more. There's a lot of work to do to make sure we do well for even more players. Alas I will leave you with a "Soon ™"!

Even though the game is no longer in production the servers are still up and they intend to continue running events. Here's info for the upcoming Gauntlet.
Swear loyalty to your favorite attribute in The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ next event, the Allegiance Gauntlet!
Allegiance Gauntlet: December 13 – December 16
In this event, players must construct decks using cards of only one attribute. No dual- or triple-attribute cards are allowed! (Neutral cards can still be included in your mono-attribute decks, however.)
Each run through the Allegiance Gauntlet costs one (1) Event Ticket or 150 Gold, up to three maximum runs.
The Allegiance Gauntlet begins Friday, December 13 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, December 16. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!
As I understand it you should be able to craft Rhys the Redeemed with Wildcards, regardless of whether or not you entered the Brawl. One user on Reddit, ryantucker1986, pointed out that you could just spend 6,000 gold or 1,200 gems (as opposed to 10,000 gold or 2,000 gems) to buy 6 card packs and use the Rare Wildcard rewarded to craft Rhys instead of paying the overpriced fee of the Brawl.
As you may have already heard, Bethesda has shared news regarding future content for The Elder Scrolls: Legends. From the moment we were given the privilege to work on the game we have been nothing short of obsessed with making it the best it possibly could be. Completely rebuilding a pre-existing title from scratch under deadline with a new client, game server, and backend was no easy feat, with every system, gameplay nuance, animation, and visual effect having to be recreated. The result was a mad dash to initial release that was decidedly rough, but we, along with Bethesda, loved the game, wanted it to continue, and had been working heads down on a shared vision we hoped to bring to all Legends players.
Over these last 18 months the connection we experienced from the Legends community has been wonderfully uplifting. You supported us through every release and some significant bumps in the road. You challenged us when we missed the mark and that helped us to learn and grow. Nothing was more enjoyable than seeing your excitement from each expansion, feature addition, and requested quality of life change. You put a smile on our collective face every time with your kind words and passion. Truly we couldn't have asked for a better fan base. We love you.
Moving forward it is up to Bethesda to decide the shape of ongoing support for Legends. Most questions should now be directed to CVH or Customer Service. As far as the Asian version goes, while it is being built on our reworked version of Legends we've not been directly involved beyond the very occasional consultation. But we're excited to see where they take it! With that said, please know that we are still around. Some of us have moved on to other endeavors, but a core of us are still here, always open to a quick chat. <3
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts and to Bethesda for being a great partner. It's been a heck of a time.
Absolutely! I'm ready to dive back in and make it my main focus.

Even philosophers get fed up with Ashiok and her BS.
There's a cool tribute video on Reddit for TESL. It made me all warm and happy inside. =) [source]
It's a good time to take a look back at the Roadmap for Mythgard cause there's a lot of stuff in store for us in the coming year.

Yeah, this game has no staying power. I mean it's only been around 26 years - sheesh!
I am disappointed at the lack of tentacles in the Hentai Highlander Hunter deck. This must be the censored version.
I'm pretty excited too! I may actually have to abandon my Unhinged lands - which are also amazingly cool!

I think these were all proof of concept and not debugged, working versions yet.
HUGE NEWS! Farewell, Sparkypants. We will miss you!
