    Row, row, row your boat

    Gently down the stream!

    Nagaly, Nagaly, Nagaly, Nagaly,

Oh, you misunderstand. I LOVE the way players take turns playing minions, and the spell speeds are great. My issue is literally with how minions bonk each-other in the face. If you could choose what minions to attack into (basically if all of them had Challenger), it'd be the perfect game for me.

OR, you could join up with Legends of Runeterra, which is basically all of that, but we know FOR SURE that you never, ever have to spend money on cards. Period. Full Stop.

Wouldn't compare the two, since Runterra has very different mechanics that not everyone might like (I, for one, don't like the combat).

Still not touching Skyweaver with a mile-long Pokey Stick because it uses crypto crap.

I mean, sure - not liking the combat is a good reason not to play LoR.

I just cannot really comprehend, personally, why anyone would not like the combat system of LoR. Assuming they take some time to get used to it.

My issue is that it's a reactive system (your opponent attacks, and you choose what to block with), while I prefer more proactive versions (you can choose what you attack into), like Hearthstone.

Regarding the year long story, they seem to be alternating between them, since there was no story in 2020, but there was one in 2019. We'll have to see how 2023 will be.

Glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we'll have the chance to do some other stuff like this in the future.

The one from Bandai? If there's interest, I can look more into it, it's quite different.

Well, well, well, well! I'm really excited for Jhin, I love cards that look at a game's rulebook and say "Nah, screw this!", they're very fun!

Nah, don't want to bring Contact Fusion into this, since it's a special case to a summoning method rather than it's own. Stardust Dragon will just have to be Solemnly Judged.

Oh, yeah, you're right. Will replace it with a proper example later today. I think I used Fusion because it was part of the game from the very beginning, and didn't want to use Synchro or later.

Zodiacs are fairly inexpensive, and they're also pretty good in standard.

Oh, yeah, everything after 3400 is Legacy. I didn't notice because I was paying attention to the Gems, since the quantity is more varied early on. Thanks for pointing it out, fixed!

I'd say swap Oh My Yogg! with Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. Yeah, it's from a completely unrelated expansion, and Mage already has Mask of C'Thun for this cycle, but I think it fits much better.

To be fair, Insight rotates in like 2 months.

Horn of Wrathion might just make Kazakusan Priest viable, since it has 4 tutors in its deck if you also count Insight. That means that, if you run no other minions, 1 in 6 cards in the deck are the big dragon himself, which is insanely consistent.

Yeah, the fact that you can't convert SRs to URs is really bad. Doesn't help that A LOT of staple cards are also UR (or maybe it's a good thing because they can go in a lot of decks).

Technically the stances are a new mechanic. But hey, IT AIN'T A KEYWORD!

Same as that one 7/7 from Rise of Shadows (?), except with treasures.
