Feels like an ok card - gonna be tricky getting much value out of it, will depend on having enough cards in hand that you can pop a couple of cheap holy spells on it before it gets removed, and cards that require that much set up (or good fortune) I wouldn't expect to see in many top end type decks.
Just when I was finally starting to get into Runeterra a bit, this Shurima stuff dropped, and now I just auto-concede half the games I play. Looks like it's back to full-time HS and Magic.

I actually tried them out, keeping this stuff in mind putting together an Ashe/Fiona deck, and hey, I won my first match in a blowout, so I'll throw all credit your way :)
I think Duels can be fun, but now that all the top strategies have been posted online, it feels same-y all the time, same builds, same heroes used. No real way to adequately combat those if you stray, or if your matchup is bad, just a total stomping. It gets dull quickly, unfortunately.
I've never liked the Hall of Fame at all, so I'm hoping that there will be a bit of rotation during each expansion meta, with some of the basics and classics rotating in and out, something along those lines. . . the wild meta seems just too set in its OP ways for any real meta changes, so the HoF becomes a kind of permanent exile for any cards that don't make that particular cut (which is nearly all cards that rotate into wild). I think periodic returns of cards like Sylvanas and Edwin, or even Power Overwhelming and the despicable Ice Lance can only help in keeping the meta fresh and interesting in those 4 month stretches.
Looks like a deserving winner to me, I have to say I love that image, perfectly goblin in its potential for destruction, with the coloration giving off just a hint of the Joker. Striking, I'd love to see a card based around it.
I can never feel guilty when I'm enjoying myself, because I know soon I'm going to run into a string of Face Hunters and Soul DHs, and all of that enjoyment is gonna go right out the window. All that over the top garbage, the harassment and insulting of developers, the spamming, the obnoxious assholery - I'd hate to be associated with anyone like that.
Whether it's pay to win or not, all that ever happens to me is getting run over by snowballing decks. I have failed to find that great in any way so far, lol
Expeditions are like the Arena I guess? I haven't tried them yet, but lord, i hate me some Arena, and I don't exactly love Runeterra these days, so it sounds like a match made in hell, haha.
People can do what they want to do, of course, but if there's anything more ridiculous in life than someone making an all-or-nothing decision about a free game on the internet, and then feeling like they have write out a big lengthy explanation of it for strangers, I can hardly imagine what it is.
If the game isn't to your liking right now, don't play. Then come back if you feel like it. Then stop again if it still sucks for you. None of this requires a Sermon on the Mount, or one last big swing at the people who DO enjoy the game to tell them why they're wrong, and that their game sucks.
Seriously, everyone - rein in the egos. I get that this is a forum, and opinions, and feelings, blah blah, but come on. Get a fucking grip.
I've always been skeptical of the "random" in Hearthstone, as we already know they've weighted that random a number of time. . . whether it's with discover, or random minion/spell generation, I've always wondered how it was programmed. The idea of multi-step things like Step One : Rarity, step two, Class, Step Three : Card has occurred to me, considering the frequency of certain cards over time (back in the day, i haven't followed as closely lately). Certainly that ups your chances of pulling Legendaries from certain cards, if you only have to clear a 1 in 4 bar on step one.

So far my favorite move with it is getting rid of a Libram buffed whatever that a paladin left out there - no more minion, no more librams.

That whole pen and paper thing is nonsense, but since it's allowed in the game, it's not cheating.
