One of those mini-Yogg type cards, a nice late game burst of damage and healing that could swing a game in your direction. Just needs a deck that veers away from the traditional weapons and minions go face thing, seems like it could be a fun card to play.

Of all the cards that have ever been printed that made me think "WTF". . . this has to be the WTFiest. Take what was a 4 mana card, reduce that cost by 3, and make it tradeable, just in case you don't have anything you want to silence. Eliminate all buffs and librams and deathrattles. . . can't get over it. . . just wow.

I think your definition of sabotage needs some reworking. Although, if you think you're the center of the universe, then I suppose anything that isn't exactly to your liking is tantamount to treason or something.

For me, I don't need to have 230some cards released 4 per day, which would end up taking nearly 2 months, and would actually find that pretty annoying. In fact, I wouldn't mind at all if they only showed half the pool before release, and canceled all those "theorycraft" streams that go a long way to killing off general creativity in the early days.

The hardest part of deckbuilding for me is that there are just so many cards, I always feel like i'm leaving important things out, and usually do, and then I can't seem to figure out what I need to cut. As a result, I end up playing the same decks over and over if they at least kinda work.

I was hearing some complaints, when the latest nerfs were announced, that Shaman need to be hit. I rolled my eyes, thinking the class had just spent a year or so in the toilet, and as soon as they have any success, people need to cry for nerfs. I hadn't really played it much lately, since my previous control shaman deck that I found fun got rotated out of existence.

Then I received the Fire Festival quest to play ten (10!!!) games as a shaman, so I figured, ok, the elemental thing seems ok, i'll throw a bunch in a deck with some spells and see how it goes. So I did that, without consulting the sites - my deck has no weapons, but I managed to squeeze in Instructor Fireheart, Al'Akir the Windlord, and Bru'kan, because I like legendaries. I also put in that elemental that summons a minion off of your highest cost spell, but only put in one high cost spell (Tidal Wave), which I usually draw before the elemental, haha. Janky, for sure.

Played my 10 games. Went 10-0. Maybe people were right. . .

I sometimes worry about LoR's future, but only because of two things - one, if i play at certain time of the day, i end up matching against the same guy over and over, leading me to believe there are not so many players, and two, because when i play (often in casual matchups), i get queued into a LOT of Noxus/SI bots, sometimes 4 or 5 games in a row, again making me concerned about how many people are really playing this thing? They certainly flood with content though, it's exhausting trying to keep up :)

As a separate sort of wish list, I kinda wish there were maybe a few more players for the game, so I less often find myself queued into a Noxus/SI Aggro Bot. Playing casual style games, I can find myself up against this 3 or 4 games in a row sometimes, especially if I'm playing in my early morning (east coast US). How are the numbers for LoR? Here's hoping this miniset brings in some new blood :)

0 play in standard, and gosh, it's been out a whole few weeks, let's nuke it! Format bans are a good thing if you actually want balance, and it could wind up bringing about more options in the future/

Well, my first note is that I don't see an actual decklist posted :) I would be interested in seeing, since I've never been terribly good with Ezreal, and in fact I don't think I've ever even leveled him up, haha.

I do most of my autoconceding in LoR, as I think nearly all HS games are winnable if you draw well enough. I will concede pretty early though if I have a bad start against a bad matchup.

I also like this card a lot, and I thought I might be the only one who plays it (now I know there's at least one more). As you said, if your minions are small enough, or their value is in battlecry or deathrattle, there's not much downside to being able to remove almost whatever you want. I often packed an Acidic Swamp Ooze as well, just in case. Bon voyage, Madness!

Hahahaha - oh man, this is just one of those pure evil cards, they're truly leaning into a villainous warlock identity, I kinda love it. Of course, this has to be the odds-on favorite to be the most hated card of the expansion, with a chance to compete for most hated ever, and even as a Warlock player, I will hate having this done TO me. Feels like a longshot scenario, but 2 of these and a duplicated Tickatus takes out 16 of 30 cards? The game is getting bananas.

This will be a nice legendary for this expansion, but depending on the long-term plans for Frenzy, it could become kind of a boring one, only usable when you use the same support cards over and over. I guess there are always very specific legendary cards designed just for one deck, just never my favorite style. I do know I'm likely to spend the next year or two "Wow" emoting every turn 7 Saurfang appearance, haha.

I would like this to be good in some way, because I like demon-based warlock stuff, but it's hard to imagine, with what's currently available, getting excited about any of these. It's better than I first thought though - I initially thought you'd have to pay 5 for that 2nd rank, but the mana cost freeze at 2 makes it ok. If we have something that buffs demons as they are summoned or something, 3 Imps for 2 mana could become valueable.

Nice simple card, use it when you're behind, use to lower the cost of your hand, use for anything that cares about casting a lot of spells, and if that "healing into damage" thing comes back, then you can try to finish with it when you're ahead. All good!

I like this just for its newness. . . +3 damage for lightning based spells, and maybe water or wind or earth spells as  well. Its utility will of course depend on what spells are in the rotation, and I would imagine that as such, cheap face spells will probably begin and end with Lightning Bolt

As it is, though, I already enjoy playing control shaman with a bunch of board clears, and this guy could help replace Hagatha's Scheme, at least a little bit.

Ok, when I read this one, I imagine the frenzy effect sends a copy of the card, with a buff, into your deck, which would mean a 3/4 with frenzy that then shuffles a copy of itself into the deck with frenzy, and so on. This being part of an expansion, along with info that all classes will have some access to card draw, means that this guy could end up being seen a LOT. That bit about "permanent" +2/+1 makes me wonder. . . when that 3/4 gets hit and shuffles, is it adding that 2/1 to a 3/4, giving you a 5/5 with frenzy in your deck? That seems kinda bananas, i would assume it's shuffling a 1.0 Sunscale in there, giving you bunches of 3/4 raptors.

Of course, if all this thing does is shuffle a 3/4 raptor with no frenzy, then it's just an ok to good 1 drop.

Looks like a good one, 7 damage removal minimum that will usually leave a 6/7 taunt behind on a class that can ramp up to it? Sure! Similar in a way to Crowd Roaster, stickier, but the damage can be thwarted by a taunt. I think it'll see a lot of use, not as a meta-busting card, but an always useful utility piece.

I have fond memories of this card from my early days on this game, back when it was a bit harder to remove big minions outside of a few cards. One of the cards that made me love warlocks, actually. I'd love to believe that there will be a meta someday that will have room for this guy, but it's hard to see it. I guess the extra 1 health makes it less of a low roll if it pops up from a random generation, but only slightly.
