The completionist in me wants to get this, but it is hard to justify yet another Jaina portrait (I have the 1000 wins one) for $11 (I also have all the mage cards). If it had an alternate animation for the hero power (Iceblast) and/or different voices I probably would but as it is it is sadly a pass.
I'm not too upset tho, while Nozdormu's helped me win some late games he's also screwed me over a game or two as well, especially when my opponent makes some interactions that last longer than the rope, that cuts in on my time.
Is this really a nerf though? Not sure it is a buff either, more like a non-event. Although I don’t these type of targeted change, it seems like a hack solution.
Opened 87 packs (5 golden), got 9 legendaries (3 golden) 8 legendaries (2 golden). I also did, for science, open first 5 regular packs and then the golden packs. After not getting any legendaries in the first 5 regular packs, my first golden pack got me one. I then got a regular legendary from my 7th regular pack, so I guess that means... well just that I am lucky I guess.
EDIT: I had originally counted the free golden legendary.
I'm not that much of a Druid or Combo player so i struggle to see the potential combo implications of this. Without taking combos in consideration, this is pretty much a 0 mana 5/4 as it will refund its cost as long as you play a spell on the same turn. It will probably see play. It's probably mind blowing for combo players but i don't feel the excitement.
It not only refunds the cost of this minion but also of the spell that you play on the same turn to activate it. Could be 0 mana 5/4 + 0 mana swipe on turn 10.
Slightly better Despicable Dreadlord. Despicable Dreadlord isn't a bad card, so I don't think this will be a bad card either.
Shamans will probably get more use out of it because of Wrath of Air Totem.
I am a little underwhelmed by this legendary, it isn't a bad card, but not a very impressive one. I will play this if I open it, but it isn't worth crafting.
It is a much better card than Despicable Dreadlord, has more health (more sticky) and goes face. I you can get any spell damage it is absurd.

Any advice on when to open golden Scholomance packs (from the big bundle)? First? Last? Somewhere in between?

Some of these are crazy overtuned. I predict at least Void Drinker and Shardshatter Mystic will be nerfed before the first month is over.

Oh, Ras Frostwhisper also goes face! That is a nice bonus.

That is non-trivial. I am not sure Cobalt Spellkin would be run as much if it had no tribe.
And no wonder Blizzard "coincidentally" changed the weapons card background this expansion.
