Warcraft writing has gotten so terrible I prefer this.  At least the characters are consistent

Nerfs seem to be happening faster after the expansion drop.  They assess win rates and feedback and move quicker than before.  The idea they moved faster on aggro Priest could just reflect this

I don’t think people excited about WoW classic remember Vanilla accurately.  Have fun farming fire resist gear

I dusted my original Golden Luna about a month after Boomsday.  Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I held onto it for double dust.

They went after some core design elements in the evergreen set of Druid that was giving them a constant state of tier 1.  Mage was really targeting 1 deck.  Mage is still powerful

So there’s a feeling among some players that dominant decks should be castrated to unplayability.  I’m much more for precision nerfs that allow the deck to continue but with a lower % of wins.  So my Assesment....

Dr.Boom:  seems spot on.  Eliminates the hero power on top turn which can be ugly.  It delays boom a few turns.  Still strong, I expect control warrior to still be tier 1, just with more breathing room for other classes to close the gap.  5/5

Extra Arms:  I have to assume they internally tested changes and came up with this.  Priest is strong, but not dominant. If the meta included more silence the deck would suffer a lot.  I know they don’t want to be constantly adjusting card power often but I felt this was a pre-nerf.  Maybe warranted but I really would like to see the meta without this first.  2/5

Conjurer’s Calling:  This felt like the low hanging fruit.  The giant cards always seem to be a problem in standard.  A trip to the HOF seems like a more permanent solution.  The power level of CC seems ok for wild when it rotates in its un-nerfed form.  There was also some cool ways to use it early game that are now dead.  It’ll be an effective bandaid but coupled with the Luna nerf it could kill the deck.  2.5/5

Luna’s Pocket:  Would trying it at 6 mana really have been too much before reverting it back to useless meme status.  We know it’s not competitive at 7. I think the suspected 6 might still be a problem but with CC at 5 now there isnt too much in the way of over the top tempo plays.  1/5 for too much at once

Barnes:  I know there’s a strong feeling that Big Priest has oppressed wild for too long.  Those who feel that way wanted the deck gutted.  Instead they went specifically after the decks ability to create a disgusting early board.  I think this will be more effective than others give it credit. 1 mana nerfs have gutted decks in the past, think this will not be that bad but will lessen the power against aggro a lot. 5/

This puts big priest in a very vulnerable state before they can have an insane early turn.  The deck is still powerful, but it’s now much more vulnerable to aggro and lets shaman/mage have an extra turn to get hex/sheep style spells.  I think the ‘moar nerfz’ Crowd is looking for this deck to be murdered and buried out back.  I can understand the feeling, especially for wild focused players who’ve played against this for literal years.  But in terms of balance it feels correct

The problem with the deck isn’t high tempo late game plays.  The infuriating moments came directly from those turn 3/4 high rolls.  A lot of classes had no answers to that. Late game huge tempo plays are common enough and your deck should either have answers to that or be designed for that to be less of a problem.  This nerf has now opened up big Priest to be much more susceptible to aggro. The goal of a nerf shouldn’t be to murder the deck, but finessing the power level

I’m probably going for dust... ironically enough for Y’sarrg.  Big shaman is a blast and it might be my first legend wild craft

Just punched it up for you.  My deck focuses a bit more on some fun interactions with Reincarnate.  One of my favorite combos was Reincarnate+Kel'Thuzad.  Seeing the opportunity to actually make that semi competitive I came up with this.  My biggest collection weakness for 'big' decks is I don't have Y'Sharrj.  I am seriously thinking about crafting it because of this deck.  Big priest never interested me but I could see it being sick in this deck.

Note that some choices (2xdevolve is the biggest) is due to the high number of big priests I see.  Normally unless they get god RNG (which has happened sadly) they are normally easy to farm.

Good tech for 1-5 ranks, not prevalent enough for 5-20 in my experience

Try wild big shaman.  Been having a blast with it.  Reincarnate on the colossus for extra fun times

I wish there were a way to customize the mass DE.  Currently I just Use it because I don’t have the time or patience to scroll through my collection looking for dupes

I’m surprised they haven’t adjusted this yet.  As others said, it was a carry over when they overhauled dailies.  To me the solution should be...

”Win a game with class x or y.”

”Play 2 games with class X.”

Maybe throw in a hidden limit of play to turn 4 or win the game to dissuade entering a game with a class and insta-conceding

Has there been any announcement what the plan for the single player content for SoU will be?  I haven't seen any announcement and wanted to know if I should start hording gold now if it's going to be similar to Dalaran Heist.

Yup, wild combo but hard to pull off. A more different variant of OTK Druid in wild.  There’s lots of flavors, most go the damage route.  Like facing any OTK Druid deck, as soon as you suspect that’s what you’re facing aggro hard

If I recall the quest text indicated it was linked to a brawl

My wild secret aggro mage is a blast.  I haven’t played wild in a while and went from 18 to 8 in 2 days.

Standard I think the most fun is highlander mage, but I think the puzzle box RNG is a big reason why.  I’m also loving quest shaman, which for me is actually like 4 decks with different strats.

I’m probably going to craft some mogushan cultists soon. I love pulling off crazy combos.  Was hoping to get lucky and pull at least one but I think I’m going to have to suck it up and craft
