    Thanks.

Devourer is totally not obvious, but I'll admit it's logical. They are very consequent exactly here where all other similar cards do differently.

Statikk. So, it can go, for example, twice to the Nexus? It seems very hard to get this one out of confusion even after your nice explanation. :D

I keep losing many games of LoR, purely because of wrongly understanding what cards do. It's so easy to get confused by complicated, contradictory, inconsistent and ambiguous text; it's worrisome to think how new and more casual players experience the game and how they get into it, at all.

For example: Riptide Rex. How the hell that card works? I spent half an hour reading the text, on google... experienced it 20 times, played it 20 times myself... still I don't get it what's happening there. Where dmg goes?

Statikk Shock. Who is "an enemy" who is not "enemy Nexus", and who is "another"? And how much dmg goes... where? I studied logic from Aristotle to Kripke, and I have never experienced a sentence constructed like that one.

I remember from before - if you remove Commander Ledros... or Chempunk Shredder, their effects (Skill) would trigger regardless. But when I played [Hearthstone Card (Devourer of the Depths) Not Found] today and my opponent Vengeance him, his Skill didn't trigger afterwards? Why? Why is it suddenly different?

Can Vladimir Crimson Pact an 1hp minion? Can you get Vlad's effect from a minion who is going to die from it?

What about "I've seen" effect? A champion needs to be on the bench. Ok. But what if he dies after completing just 75% of the effect? Is everything reset, or not?

These are just the most representative examples.

Oh, those guys on the bench! Very interesting. Thanks a lot for the clarification.

Can someone clarify the leveled-up text?

"...stun the strongest backrow enemy". What's "backrow enemy"? Does this complicatedly mean you can't stun the face, just followers and champs?

If you deal several separate non-combat dmg in a turn, you stun that number of enemy minions, right?

Yes, 'net decking = P2W' part is the most confusing, lol.

Heck, LoR is the most affordable big CCG on the market. I'm playing it casually and have half the collection; if I would spend all of my resources it would go to 100%. LoR's economy is the last thing we can argue about, rn. We can talk more about the gameplay. Personally, I see balance occasionally being all over the place because of some design decisions and because of some fundamental design issues. The selling point was fixing retarded things from HS, but they ended up repeating them (like superfluous nexus dmg, stealing cards, destroying opponent's decks, randomness...).

Other than that, LoR is a fine card game, belonging to the top 3: LoR, HS, MtG:A.

I'm looking forward to new modes. I enjoy Expeditions more than Standard.

And regarding net decks... What is there beside net decks? No, it' not creativity. Just an illusion. Just garbage losing decks. Pick a deck smart people constructed for you and go enjoy the game, man.

Ok, this is why we need the screenshot button (yeah, I'm taking the opportunity to advertise one of my games on this thread, but in my defense it's related to the purpose of the theme ;):

This guy was molesting me from the very beginning and he only needed to finish me off, but then he played a minion... Additionally, that Crimson Disciple was randomly generated from a randomly generated Crimson Curator. Imperial Demolitionist - the topKEK.

How do you take screenshots in LoR? And where is the folder?

You've nicely recognized some of those tricky situations.

Really don't understand why they printed these "steal" cards. Devs were promising us for several months how they will especially avoid implementing stupid and irritating stuff from HS, then they proceed to print the most stupid and irritating ones. They said - no random, but if you browse your collection you'll now notice a lot of cards which say "random". Which is okay; they realized some rng and randomness is needed to fight monotony and tedious predictability (just don't overdo it!). But, "steal" doesn't help anything, it's just plain stupid; contradicting fundamental aims of the game. No clown fiesta is the exact reason why we would play LoR, otherwise we play HS and not LoR.

I asked for your list in fear you picked up something random and obsolete; but VS list is really the right choice. So, there's nothing much too add or take away... only that your replacement is totally fine. :) A good thing is that you have Captain Greenskin (a replacement for him would have been Hoard Pillager).

It seems EVIL Quartermaster is doing great and it's a good mulligan keep. Regarding the mulligan in general, yes you usually prioritize the mentioned cards, but don't keep Risky Skipper, except vs. Demon Hunter, where it's a must. I'm not sure about Armorsmith; I would keep it vs. DH 50% of the time, namely only if I have some other core cards like Corsair Cache, in the first place. It's not a keep in slow matchups.

Judging by Enrage Warrior mulligan strats, it's good to keep Battle Rage vs. Priest. This is unfavorable duel and your game plan is to draw cards, feed the board bit by bit and deplete some hp... all that to surprise and burst with Grommash Hellscream.

As with any new deck, you need some time and practice. So, don't mind experimenting with plays and forcing the deck to the limits, until you get use to it. Bomb Warrior is better than Enrage Warrior - vs. Druids and Mages, it's slightly weaker vs DH, but still very favorable (I was 5-0 yesterday). EVIL Quartermaster helps here, together with Sword and Board. The most challenging turns are t2-t5 vs. DH. You need to do it right, because we don't have [Hearthstone Card (Warmaul Challanger) Not Found] here. Tough decisions like: [Hearthstone Card (Bladestrom) Not Found] before 1/1s or draw with Ancharrr right now and use blades later as a single target removal - [Hearthstone Card (Glavebound Adept) Not Found]...

When you calculate Bloodboil Brute, this is my formula to not screw up: a) count Brute's full cost, which is 7; b) count how many wounded minions are on the board that will survive "#" pings; s) count how many new wounded minions will show up and survive. So: "a)" - ("b)"+"c)")  = exact mana.

If someone told me before, Blessed Champion will find a place in HS decks, I would reply - Sir, you are crazy.

I'm currently relaxing through low ranks, trying decks like Pirate Warrior and Pure Pally. Yeah, the latter needs draw and a win condition. I'm really having fun with Paladin, 7-4 rn, but this class suffers because of that ridiculous article (fraud) from Team 5 regarding "class identity". Apparently, a general card game mechanic like card draw is a privilege of only several classes. Others get like zero. ...Which means: 1) Unlike other classes Paladin will less likely draw a required answer (inconsistency); 2) Paladin needs to kill c. 3 enemy cards with only one of his own (which he still doesn't really have [a proactive win con...]).

But, enough of that. I really wanted to share how I destroyed / counter high-rolled Priests with the help of Blessed Champion :). Paladin is actually favored, Priest is also t3 and I usually stomp them, but the current Priest archetypes are, in my opinion, the worst and the ugliest archetypes in the history of HS. They make me angry even if I win. It's like - a part of my soul flies away every time I face them ...because you never know what kind of random bulshit they'll get this time. No clear idea what are the Priest decks.

So, here's a win from yesterday:

    https://ibb.co/Jydm0np

    ---

And here's a recent one. What happened here is that Priest high-rolled and started to do his shit. I tried my best to save the Prime, Murgur Murgurgle, but he stole him with a top deck, then he discounted his hand, sick Sethekk Veilweaver turn, [Hearthstone Card (Mindflyer Kaahrij) Not Found] my taunt, after all that I couldn't remove Skeletal Dragon for 3 turns... etc... he started to bully me (more then trying to outright kill me, he got cocky). In the meantime I casually played Righteous Cause generated by Lightforged Crusader. Fast forward to the situation presented in the screenshots. I was about to concede, because next turn he will Galakrond, the Unspeakable me, and I would never retake the board again.

My only way out is (now or never) to get some charge from Underlight Angling Rod. I played that, hit him and got Fishflinger, for 1 mana, because of Scargil on the board. Fishflinger gave me Bluegill Warrior for 1 mana, too. Playing both Murlocs completed the sidequest and together with Blessed Champion on the best minion gave me lethal.

    https://ibb.co/qRWX22s

    https://ibb.co/nRNSFzj

Blessed Champion won me 3 out of 7 games.

There are 3 Standard Warrior decks: 1) Enrage is the best; 2) Bomb is quite high, too; 3) Pirate is fast and good overall, but you know... consistency of aggro decks depends on a curve you get.

Wild Warrior decks: 1) Pirate Warrior rules again, it can draw and almost looks like a combo deck and not like some versions from the past; 2) Galakrond Warrior beats Priests; 3) Bomb Warrior appears to be strong, too; 4) Odd Warrior is the king of inconsistency. It demolishes aggro, but dies to late game powerhouses which outvalue Warrior. But you can disrupt them with Coldlight Oracle + Zola the Gorgon + Brann Bronzebeard combo.

Warrior is currently very strong and fun. I think you should relax and craft a bit more now, enjoy the game and decks now, don't suffer from some future uncertainty. Blizzard will give you back some dust through events, nerfs and such. Every card in meta decks is there for a reason. So, cutting one of them will cost you roughly 2% of winrate; and current meta has a lot of close matchups. For example, in my last game before legend vs. Rogue, Deathwing, Mad Aspect and Grommash Hellscream were absolutely crucial and I wouldn't stand a chance without them.

So, yeah... Ancharrr is the best craft. Deathwing, Mad Aspect and Grommash Hellscream are utility cards and I would get at least one of them, if not both. Probably, Grom would be my first pick, because he wins games. He's rarely a staple, but pops up from time to time in Warrior decks. Deathwing is a fabulous board clear, but I guess you can try Brawl or Plague of Wrath instead.

Kargath Bladefist isn't good yet. Players play him in Bomb Warrior, but he doesn't perform well there. Bomb Warriors need cards to win, not those to not lose.

Teron Gorefiend is another card pros are over-hyping. The thing is, you're gonna lose 90% of Priest games if you play Teron / Eggs. And you watch that on their streams and pros still will not admit it. The card can get better later, but rn, Meati's Captain Greenskin version is better, especially vs. Priest and Mage. As you can see, Warriors play Greenskin, but if you can't get it, play Injured Tol'virs instead. Get Greenskin from [Hearthstone Card (Sky Rider) Not Found].

Both epics you're mentioning are really good. Livewire Lance and Bloodsworn Mercenary. The first one is played in all Warrior decks, while Mercenary only in Enrage (and there it's the most crucial card, not some Eggs).

You have Blastmaster Boom, so you're closer to play Bomb Warrior. Bomb Warrior's future is slightly less certain than of Enrage. In your place I would wait for upcoming Blizzard's announcements before crafting anything. We're getting PvE content soon, but maybe some event with new cards can happen, too (and change the meta).

Do you have the Adventure? Bomb Wrangler and Risky Skipper are core cards.

Armagedillo can become useful later this year.

Non premium HsReplays is completely useless, even premium has huge deck recognition problems. Winrate calculation methods are misleading. Use it for some general info and mulligan.

    Metastats is obsolete.

Tempostorm is completely false and random, no data, just biased feelings. Wild meta reports are slightly more useful, because nobody does much better with low wild data.

Vs is the way to go. The most comprehensive methods of data interpretation (expected winrates...). The only minor issue if you don't follow their live data is that reports are a week old.

Teamrankstar is now transitioning and it's a good place for wild info.

When this game was announced they were talking about how all those dumb aspects of Hearthstone will be fixed. Now we witness how Runeterra has more dumb design solutions then HS ever had.

HS: The most unhealthy and the worst kind of deck overall is Face hunter. Runeterra: Hold my beer. Let's print dozens of direct face damage / depleting cards.

Let's advertise interactivity as the main selling point and the main design cornerstone of the game, then just implement dozens of totally non interactive mechanics and strategies.

We want 10 meta decks and all cards viable; reality: people play 3 obviously op non interactive decks / classes / cards.

We don't want random shit in our game... proceed to make random shit in the game. Even one step forward: steal random cards from your opponent without any drawback.

Let's print seemingly innocent cards. They end being exploited in decks for which they were not designed for. Aggro decks run control tools.

    ...

I haven't played LoR much... After my first ranked this win this season I got 200 + 800 bonus xp. Not 400+ daily bonus. Why?
