Whirlkick has plenty of weaknesses. Doesn't handle Token Druid well, Warriors can be a pain, Paladins hold their own equally, it may fall to either Demon Hunter, Mage can do a similar amount of burst, and a good Priest/Warlock isn't in a bad spot either. It's just well rounded enough that flawless piloting can match most decks, and sometimes runs away through great RNG if opponents got no answer. But that's Darkmoon meta in a nutshell for many archetypes.
No worries, there really might've been something off that have since corrected with the database. I was positive I used the right version from the get go, but this transition to new cards can be a confusing one.
That's very strange. For me in the text article the link and everything displays correctly (new version, so it's blue to fit rarity), but for you it's showing as white/the old version? We would have to look into it.
There is also the possibility of finding a legendary you don't have, since they seem to be on their own separate "pity timers". Not that it's something to bet on with just 1 pack, but worthy consideration for anyone who buys those bundles.
I wish, but it was never quite *the* deck. Only briefly making its presence known, and then the quest became forgotten with the more recent expansions (despite the fact we got Dual Class cards).
It does feel too slow and unreliable for the current meta, and Rogues are usually forced to develop tempo and push for swifter finish when you have no heals and ways to survive longer. Hoping to control the board only delays the inevitable, unless it's against no burn decks. Plague Scientist on its own is often pointless when you have Coerce and don't need to waste another minion. But that's a nifty poisonous combo, at least on paper. Maybe if things truly slow down and become board focused again.

You can only ever showcase one at a time and maybe 1% of players would ever take note and recognize it. If that. Then would proceed to shrug it off, because why care about random opposing player's cardbacks when you play against so many. And with hundreds of cardbacks now. I certainly never do, but then I barely even pay attention to my own.
It's a much better idea to offer them back for collectors and those who might wish to find a new favorite they might've missed by not playing back in the day. Personal aesthetic, nothing more.
I'm glad whenever that happens. It does take more time and effort to be constructive, to be sure. I think in more specialized places (forums or subreddit) there are more people who are already invested in certain subjects. While general population has such a wide scope.
But I also found out about the existence of that deck right here, so there's that. And gonna miss spell damage totem for other reasons as well.
I think that might have been reading too much into it? It can be tempting to generalize at first, but hard to tell what's in people's minds and why they might react a certain way. Quite often due to getting a wrong idea. Community is more so the regulars you interact with than a random person or two who just decided to be rude or not relevant because they can. I would shrug those off when you make valid arguments; as you see they eventually find a fair reception.
I share that downvoting sentiment, and it's unfortunate to see. Sometimes people just aren't very forgiving of opinions that don't reflect their own or don't fit the mold.
