Every time I face a BSM I keep saying to myself: "Good riddance to this awful deck, I just need to wait a few more weeks!"

God, I can't wait for Rune of the Archmage to rotate, it's my only hype for this standard rotation.

Standard rotates every year and Wild where broken decks exist (sometimes) are the main two formats. I also can’t say Hearthstone is actively dying but rather it’s almost to the point where the majority of players who call it their ‘main game’ are the people fully invested, similar to the players who kept WoW alive when it had a few bad expansions (I’ve only heard good things about Dragonflight).

Edit: I mean hell, Tournament mode, formats, guilds. Basic things they can add within a year each and they choose not to do it but instead try to sell us more cards

That is why I said provided they don't increase the overall cost the same. If they effectively increase the price of playing by 33% with the additional set, that's a super hard pass from me.

They really do just need to stick another format in the game. Rotate the sets in it every couple of months and it'll be a breath of fresh air. I suspect they are too afraid to do it because it might end up making Standard look like a joke and we certainly can't have that happen! The best part is if they rotate content on a good enough schedule, you never need to balance anything! You could do card bans to keep the super annoying stuff out but that's fairly low effort.

Not only you. This card is gonna be hellava annoying  for aggro to deal with. Good thing we now have a side board for everyone to tech in a silence :)

Ah that flavor text made me chuckle inside. We all knew this type of mechanic was coming thanks to Death Beetle and if control ever see the light of day in standard again, this might be a good tech card to start with.

Some interesting cards so far but if only we knew what was in a core set for this year, we could start doing theory crafting 🙃

It saddens me that this awesome site isn't getting the traffic is deserves but I do understand this game is almost 10 years old and things are not what they used to be. I do look forward to the OoC experience on OoG and look forward to how we can keep the HS content and this community alive going forward.

Very flexible location and as seen in the HSreplay live data section, locations are the most played cards in standard atm, so this will definitely see play.

This buff can be very good on a couple key minions like Nerubian Swarmguard. It's 8/8 in stats for 3 mana regardless of it's in harmonic or dissonance form. Blizz really committed to making hand buff DK a thing.

Discover cards usually see play at the beginning of standard rotation so this should see some play, if it doesn't, that's coz it's too slow and not as flexible as Venomous Scorpid

This card is so awesome and I'm glad Blizzard recognize the benefits of having a side board. Also the rules you can break like having odd cards in even decks etc is so awesome and makes natural sense coz the side board is using the discover mechanic, which I think is quite a neat spin on using a side board and is distinctively HS flavor. I can just add all my tech cards to ETC now or change my game plan completely by adding in another win con.

So the way I understand it, the class that gets a skin doesn't get a class pack. So no class packs for Mage, Druid and Warrior 

Edit: Oh wait, this is incorrect, didn't actually check which class packs the other 2 options provided, they do give a druid and warrior class pack.

Now we just need to patiently wait for these cards to be added to the OoC DB so we can vote on them 🙃

This is actually a pretty cool event, having to choose who to support (or cheer). Would be interesting to see the stats on which of the 3 choices was picked the most. I went with JAM Kingdom coz it's kinda my go to music genre and also that Azshara skin looks better than the other 2.

This could be a good time to add Elite Tauren Chieftain to the core set coz honestly, what could go wrong?

This is just my opinion secretly living on this site for a couple years. Also just a disclaimer that I'm not complaining about these issues, just highlighting them and my concern as I really want to see this site succeed as the place to go for all Hearthstone news.

Here are some rough concerns I've recently noticed but I can definitely understand real life gets in the way at times.

• The current Tavern Brawl is showing as closed at the time of writing
• The new expansion announcement of the announcement was hidden in this buddies update but neither have been covered at the time of writing
• Since Avalon's departure, I've sorely missed the Achievement guides and duels meta updates (these things happen though so it's understandable)
• In general I've felt the number of HS articles have declined to a point where the main page shows more Marvel Snap articles than HS 😓

I can totally understand things get in the way of this awesome site. Just hope things pick up and maybe we get more staff to add some more guides/meta updates etc.
