This is just my opinion secretly living on this site for a couple years. Also just a disclaimer that I'm not complaining about these issues, just highlighting them and my concern as I really want to see this site succeed as the place to go for all Hearthstone news.
Here are some rough concerns I've recently noticed but I can definitely understand real life gets in the way at times.
The current Tavern Brawl is showing as closed at the time of writing
The new expansion announcement of the announcement was hidden in this buddies update but neither have been covered at the time of writing
Since Avalon's departure, I've sorely missed the Achievement guides and duels meta updates (these things happen though so it's understandable)
In general I've felt the number of HS articles have declined to a point where the main page shows more Marvel Snap articles than HS 😓
I can totally understand things get in the way of this awesome site. Just hope things pick up and maybe we get more staff to add some more guides/meta updates etc.
Warrior? Dont bother, still dead. Far as Im aware there's some concerted effort to make quest warrior good again, but at some point we'll probably just come right back to enrage all over again. Ironically, warrior's best matchup is into frost DK but that's taken down a peg now so Garrosh can go right back into warming benches for another month, when the new expansion comes in. Fingers crossed warrior wont be screwed for the third time in a row.
Please correct me if I'm wrong as I don't play wild that much but do dabble from time to time. Big Priest is a Tier 2 deck right? (Might be Tier 1 now after the nerfs) and maybe Team 5 were worried about nerfing Illuminate as it'd affect Standard and Priest isn't looking too good in Standard atm (But ofc compared to Warrior, that's a different story 😅)
The Parrot nerf is kinda what I'm comparing to, it has no affect to BSM in Standard but ofc the nerf was to destroy the Quest mage combo.
They could always nerf it in the future after reevaluating the wild meta shift after these nerfs.
I really enjoy deckbuilding and that part of HS is basically non-existent now due to deck codes and the meta getting solved so quickly in Standard. If there was a rotating sets format that changed between 3 - 5 sets at random every month, it would create new smaller metas and we get to use mid-power level cards again that just collect dust in wild.
As for wild itself... it's sad that Team 5 has just left it to get so bad. I pity the players who play the mode but it will keep morphing into a monster with every new set added to the game.
My opinion is: Change wild into the ultimate "legacy mode" and unnerf everything (even Warsong Commander) and just let it run rampant then change classic to a rotating sets mode that has more rules/limitations to create a more healthy meta.
I think Team 5 had to make this change for cards like Corpse Explosion which were literally and functionally unplayable when generated for another class. Don't recall any other cards doing that before.
I think they tweaked on when everyone ended up playing DK during the Half and Half TB
Honestly, aside from the annoying "Deal 100 X damage" daily quests, I won't be touching Mercs again even with these cool updates. The thought of spending time in an officially dead mode would leave a bad taste in my mouth and that's kinda sad.
Maybe in an alternate universe, Mercs never existed and the game was better off for it.
The flavor text makes me think they'll introduce a new mana ramp spell in the next expansion to the effect of "Gain an empty mana crystal (can exceed 10 mana)"
Just like Mecha'thun, this card requires a certain setup to win the game consistently. These types of cards are always welcome in my opinion as it creates a whole new archetype or way of winning the game. You don't need to hit your opponent in the face constantly.
Only downside ofc is that if your horseman get transformed, you instantly loose the game coz your only win con is dead.
Evolve shaman is running rampant in the meta atm, so might not be a good time just yet to try this type of deck.
The rune restriction is very interesting, makes me wonder if we'll ever get a rainbow DK card with all 3 runes. I'm not really a fan of the art as there's tons of better Sindragosa artworks online. Also why are the tokens the same art? Why would she have 2 right wings? We've seen the tokens from other Colossal minions and they have different artwork. Hoping this is fixed in the client when the mini set releases.

✌❤😄
Read the section on warrior, there might be hope

One of those brawls where DK isn't a good class 😅
I vaguely remember there was a Dean Q&A before he left where he hinted that Team 5 were looking at changing the classic format into a rotating sets format which I've been asking for since they created the Tavern Brawl Blocks. See https://outof.cards/hearthstone/tavern-brawls/117-brawl-block-gods-gadgetzan-gurubashi

Agreed, the wrinkle line under his eyes really doesn't make him look attractive.
This is meant to be a high fantasy game, old man Varian hits too close to reality 😅
I'm extremely nervous that my country's pricing will increase soon coz the local currency value has weakened a lot compared to USD 😒
They probably knew about the bugs since the mini-set release which was last Tuesday, so ~ 5 days to fix bugs, not bad.
As a heavily biased dragon supporter, it's a bit tough choosing which dragon deck to play here 😜 Wonder if you can try all 3
Every time I see random for TBs, I just go DK instantly coz they have the best (and smallest) card pool :)

Hey hey, you wanna buy a funnel cake?
Evolve Shaman is sitting here laughing to his heart's content when seeing Blazing Transmutation
Speaker Gidra would only half disagree with you 🙃

I do like the From De Other Side combo as mentioned above

I also want to see the full artwork

Nerubian Egg is in the core set and hasn't seen much play.
It's probably just gonna be Loatheb that's playable.
