yup, I'd really love to know how Team 5 do their decision making coz this predatory pattern isn't looking good, it's making them out like villains. Lots of newer players would've fallen for this trap and probably just stopped playing the game all together when they couldn't afford the mini-set, how does that benefit Blizzard and the community?
Never really had much success with Imp Warlock, ever since Castle Nathria. Evolve Shaman on the other hand is becoming quite a menace but I'm loving the deck and all it's RNG swings.
Yup, I work for a casino company and all slot games payout between 88% - 97%. This is ofc due to regulated market reasons and seeing as gaming isn't regulated outside of Loot box laws in certain EU countries , huge gaming corporates really squeeze as much money out of us as possible.

It also really shows what I dislike/hate about more modern HS/current game direction. The 3 games I won I had necromancer on 2 that opponent didn't have immediate answer to, the 3 games I didn't have that basically nothing else mattered in outcome of the games in comparison at least.
Wouldn't Recommend it at all, but I just didn't want to loose the chance at the only female DK skin (and blood elf DK is what I used to main in wow back when I played it still)
Its a scam, and not a fun/casual experience for everyone. In fact its the exact opposite of that, which isn't what tavern brawl is for.

Has their been any confirmation on in-person events? Especially for the World Championship. Ofc these events would cost players their own money to fly to a certain location but they feel much more lively than the play at home events.
Generally* Team 5 doesn't nerf cards from the latest expansion unless they super oppressive and popular like Astalor. If concoctions are still OP come next expansion, they'll probably be hit. My only hope for Shadowstep is that it's banished to wild come the core set 2023 update. Also if you look at HSreplay, Wildpaw Gnoll and Sinstone Graveyard are still in the top 10 most played cards.
While I'm fine with these cards changes, I'm getting a feeling that Team 5 are buffing more cards than previously, just to keep up with the power creep in the game. Wouldn't a mass nerf be more beneficial to the game than buffing underperforming cards?
Like, I'd be scared at what the game will look like 5 years from now where they buff cards like Secret Passage or Wildpaw Gnoll coz they'll be considered "too weak"
Honestly I could see this happening after the 2022 HS World Championship was live at the same time as the Soccer World Cup. I actively watched every masters/GM on youtube in 2022 and the viewer numbers were averaging at about 3k - 12k on the main HS channel. Let's hope the move back to Twitch increases viewership again

I learnt the hard way that DK corpse cards are pretty OP in this brawl.
Other classes can't even use cards like Corpse Explosion, they just not playable at all
I know a certain salty content creator will be very happy with this change
