As always, I hope they plan to undo these nerfs when the cards rotate into wild.
Turtle mage was an interesting deck that I never got a chance to really use, and the card's only other real use was generating more copies of ice block, which it now cannot do.
In EDH, players start with twice as much life, and have a deck of 99 unique cards.
They also start the game with a commander, a legendary creature, in the command zone. The colours of the commander mandate what colours the cards in the deck can be, and the commander can be cast from the command zone and returns there when it is removed, increasing in cost each time.
In most cases, this means you can use silly build-around legendaries to their full potential unlike in regular constructed formats, where they are much too slow to see play.
Does this also include cards that discover from a controllable zone, like your deck?
If so that means that Shadow Visions cannot generate Shadow Visions any more, which actually changes the balance of the card, because it is certain to give three useful options now.
Been having a lot of fun with the new tour guide-enabled beardo OTK.
It seems pretty consistent, but it's probably not as reliable as mecha'thun warlock.
EDIT: I also love polkelt and sphere of sapience. They are the kind of cards I really hope they start printing instead of filling leftover neutral legendary slots with chaff.
I think we've passed the point of every taunt with deathrattle being a consideration for n'zoth decks now, but his one is remarkably ok. I think that this won't see super widespread play, but greedy reno decks can likely make use of this card as one of the biggest deathrattle taunts available.
Probably does pretty well in token druid, but a lot of aggro decks don't have very many spells they are willing to play on turn 2, making the card less universal than it looks.
Remarkably okay for a reveal stream dump common, but still not really strong enough to see play. It is fairly big for a murloc though, so it is a maybe card for murloc paladin's recruit effects.
I don't think that it needs to be said that a rager is bad. The divine shield mitigates its rager-ness, but a minion with no relevant abilities at 4 mana is just not good.
Not likely to see play, based upon other cleave minions that have been printed. This is the cheapest ever neutral cleave minion though, so maybe I'm missing something?

An elitist is one who considers themselves and other enfranchised members of a group to be of greater merit than the disenfranchised.
A hearthstone elitist would be somebody who thinks, for example, that the game should be more monetised, to disincentivise "free-to-play"-ing.
There isn't a word for what you are referring to, because liking only a part of something is just knowing what you like and doing it.
Players don't have a moral obligation to play or like to play a broad variety of decks.

I get irrationally upset about how angry some players get over losing to chance.

Who are these people and why are they so angry?
Not very likely to be impactful, as is true of all random minion summoning effects.
Not really something that any decks need right now, but the card is a top consideration if stealth rogue becomes a viable midrange archetype.

Definitely stronger than any card in the trogg vertical cycle, but that is not a high bar.

The 0 mana 1/1 cycle continues, and I think that this one isn't great.
There are not as many synergies that reward early demons as beasts or murlocs.
