If only you could clear a board of imps with deathrattles gained from Tamsin's Phylactery without destroying this as well. You could OTK with mines for up to 52 damage without needing Tamsin Roame. Other than that, it could have some niche use with Habeas Corpses.

What if vision of darkness gets stolen? Does opponent's copy stay in hand permanently as well or they can use it only once? Does another copy of it generate itself in your hand after it is stolen or the effect is stolen as well?

Nice that they fixed the nathanos bug already. I once had it copy rat king's deathrattle and when it died, the summoned rat king was perma-frozen, each turn.

For some reason I thought it blocked battlecries as well. It's a significant difference in that case.

Objection basically achieves the same thing as Potion of Polymorph, if I'm not mistaken? Could be viable in standard secret mage to make you guess between Explosive Runes and this. Do you test with a smaller minion and risk taking damage or risk getting your bigger minion countered? You probably always test with the smaller minion though as most decks have 40 health. With that in mind, I doubt that Objection and Contract Conjurer are enough to put secret mage on the map.

However, I have so many questions about Life Sentence. Is there any purpose to it other than to counter resurrection decks, of which there's only big priest in wild? Aren't polymorph effects a better counter anyway? Does it somehow also remove all copies of that card in hands and decks? I doubt it because I feel they would emphasize that on the card. And why give the banish effect to mage? I guess giving it to priest would be super toxic. The effect is probably just The Amazing Reno's battlecry, which makes sense. If that's the case, it isn't that exciting of a card, especially in standard. I guess this gives you an alternative Polymorph as it's missing from the core set .

Call to the stand isn't exactly 'equal' to Dirty Rat. It's usually worse since you need to have an answer prepared as you're not leaving a body with taunt when playing this. Also, it doesn't help against aggro to defend when opponent empties their hand. If the opponent doesn't have any minions in hand, it's entirely useless.

Shadehound might be even good in wild, beast hunter runs a lot of small beasts that easily infuse this and leaving a board of small beasts up is much more riskier for the opponent now.

Having Motion denied in the pool for Tavish is also something to look out for.

The flavor is funny, but horrible for hunter. The effect is amazing, has some shenanigans potential with Oblivitron

Every month I feel like an idiot putting an unplayable card in my deck just for some experience when none of my opponents ever played nozdormu. Why would you put nozdormu in a 40-card deck anyway...

I have the same issue on my google chrome browser. I first noticed it somewhere before Nathria launch.

Streamers sleeping on Suspicious Alchemist. The discovered card can be useful, the mind games are fun and it's a good 1 drop in a meta dominated by implock. It has won me so many games from a tight spot.

Sometimes even the 30-card mage seems better than the 40-card version because of the consistently good draws.

Druid can easily cheat this out early, or even copy it with something like Kael'thas Sinstrider and Oracle of Elune. The stickiness makes it a nightmare to deal with. Even priest would need to silence the board with Shard of the Naaru before clearing, or do something highly unoptimal like 2x Shadow Word: Ruin. Yikes!

Deals with so many things it's ridiculous. Even more so in wild than in standard. Why not include a copy in any deck with any hint of control?

I really want this card to be decent, but it will be very meta-dependent. Azsharan Saber and Stormpike Battle Ram take the 4-slot, but maybe in a more aggressive hunter list?

I think this will be trash because of how inconsistent the effect is, doing nothing except maybe drawing you some cards, which by the time you can play this will just cause you to overdraw.

I can see this being used in certain decks that want to utilize outcast effects being blocked by an expensive card in the left/right-most spot, e.g. not being able to play Spectral Sight because of Skull of Gul'dan

Oh, so if you play it the same turn, you're basically guaranting them that card. Interesting mechanic.

How does suspicious alchemist work? You have to wait during your turn for your opponent to guess your choice until you can continue with your own turn? I thought Hearthstone's philosophy was that your opponent shouldn't be able to intervene during your turn.
