This card is no doubt meta defining.
Now the real question is, how much it will affect the meta. Initially I thought of it a Prince Keleseth that would be used in midrange decks filled with dragons. But as more dragons started to appear, more uses to this card would come to. I then remembered that in shaman with quest one could make a highlander version running new alextraza, and lets not forget that malygos is still a thing.

I consider this to be the most meta defining card so far in the expansion, and one that will receive the community cries for NERF.

The card is going to be as important in this meta as is doomsayer: coming out of faceless lackey when you least expect and changing the game for a weird twist.

Biggest question one might have is if you have this on board when you play roue Galackron, will the new formed legendaries cost zero?

One of the best cards so far, simplistic but god darn good.

Think about it this way: is Shadow Bolt good? what about Town Crier ? If you answer yes or maybe to any of them, then they forbidden child, aka this card, is going to be a must play in any hunter deck that runs at least 1 more rush card.

For standard it clearly seems like a set up for a future expansion, when they might add more pirate synergy. In wild it might help pirate warrior to pull the class out of the bottom tier. We'll see. Maybe I should re-craft patches?

Was thinking the exact same thing, regarding this as a preparation for future expansions. but with a low attack, is it really a good weapon to run in an agressive deck? Well, I suppose that all weapon look kinda bad when compared to old Fiery War Axe , may he rest in peace.

Seems honestly quite decent for a control Priest, although probably be run as a 1 of due to Mass Hysteria and Plague of Death being more suited for mass removal.

This is really only going to be used in metas where you would ever consider running Holy Nova as this would replace it. Works very nicely against a meta where there is lots of aggressive small minions early on.

Totally seems like another tool for control priest, and in regards of Holy Nova, no one actually played that card because of the healing effect, so in that sense this is actually a better (cheaper) version.

I won't dismiss this card yet. Yes, it is worse than harrison jones because most of the time, if you have a weapon tech in your deck, you will have a game plan that prefers to draw cards rather than steal a weapon (and currently there aren't many weapons worthy of stealing)

However, since warrior recieved a new legendary weapon, we might come to see other legendary weapons, some really wort being stolen.

This card being good or bad really depends on other good weapons being printed, Kobolts and Katacombs style.

It's either decent turn 3 arena card or crazy Tundra Rhino combo.
    There is no in-between.

Ahhh, it's 1 mana too high form my singleton quest shaman.

But seriously, there is zero reason not to run this in highlander decks. Standard definitely need the help to reach tier 1, and wild decks will become crazy, especially mage who has been the only class thus far to receive highlander cards every-time those were available . No joking, with Reno Jackson Reno the Relicologist Kazakus Inkmaster Solia Zephrys the Great this will be the 6th highlander card mage receives.

Well Flamewaker will go away when the new expansion comes so they can only join forces in Wild. This card is pretty good; solid stats for a 3-drop and an abusable effect. Could fit some new sort of Quest Mage maybe? Nice to see some new Elementals in the set as well.

This is literally  Flamewaker replacement. Instead of damage, it gives board. In a sense, It's more balance and can make the current mage playstyle much more consistent, especially with the sidequest that summons a dragon.

Dont know if its going to be playable or not, but one thing is for certain, it will either be meta-defining or bad, no in-between. It did came to the right class, only 2 more classes could make use of this card, druid and rogue.

If you have more than 5 cards in hand when you play this, it is already cost efficient.
Will I still hold my reservations for the legendary that increases your hand size, this one on the other hand (get it?) can be played alone in a control or combo warlock deck.

3/5 maybe 4/5, depends on the meta

if you play it with quest shaman, will two dragons hatch from the egg or just one?

Not even looking at combo possibilities, this card is great in any aggro, midrange or control deck that uses dragons.

Usually this kind of effect would come with a weak body, but 2 mana 2/3 simply allows to play it on curve if needed.

    I like it

A 3 mana 3/2 dragon rush is already playable, due to warrior's rush tutor capacity. Being a dragon, it enables all dragon synergies, while not needing one itself. Now looking at the effect, and it easily out-classes restless mummy and can be seen on par with oasis surger.

But then there is still the matter of galockron's battlecry which simply makes this card broken.

    Will see play for sure

Vilespine is better only because it costs one mana less and you can run two copies of it. Besides that, this card is very good, coz it gives you nive body (4/4) and good assasinate effect

I think this is precisely why this card is going to be real good and present in all rogue decks:

Vilespine showned us that an assassination with body lead rogue to consitently be a tier 1 deck. While this costs 1 more and you can only have 1 copy, I belive that its enought to be used to replicated the vilespine effect.

One more thing to consider, when talking about wild is the shudderwork conter this can be

It's even wrong to judge this without the dragon effect, since by those standarts half of the dragons that shaped the meta in the past would be crap.

With that in mind, this together with Crazed Netherwing can make a extremly aggressive dragonlock.

Finally, what started as a joke in the beggining of Rise of Shadows shall now be a dream come true; My dragonlock barista omega agent control deck!

7/5  best dragon so far. Not best card because aparently Kronx Dragonhoof is a thing.

This is much likely a 5/5 card. tutoring a card with those stats is already good, and with all the deathratle help that rogue already has, this will deffenetly see play.

My one concern is the new cards restriction this creates, as every time a new OP deathratle comes out, everyone is going to abuse it with this.

    time will tell

    it's a bit...boring?

Like sure, it's definitely going to be used in Dragon paladin (however that deck is going to turn out eventually), but it's not like Paladin desperately needs heals.

I'd rather get some rush or taunt dragons to be used with Dragonspeaker and the other legendary. I guess this means we're really doubling down on the whole "handbuff big bois and survive until you can play them" strategy, which makes Sand Breath so much more confusing.

Agreed that the card is boring, albeit good. but with the new legendary Dragonrider Talritha, and other cards like Dragon Speaker, a midrange dragon deck can easily appear, where you win if you just keep playing and buffing dragons. For this to work you cant play with expensive dragons, 6 cost is the most you should go for.

Also, healing in midrange can be better than most think, by either buying you a turn, or healing one of your big minions.

I don't know. Ever since paladin received a nerf in equality, the famous equality consecration combo stoped beeing played in almost all decks, exeptions made for those looking to discount shivala.

Now, Hunter is by nature agressive. So either this is played for tempo, allowing 1-2 better trades, or wont be played at all, since hunter cant wait for turn 7+ to play a two card combo for board clear.

As fantastic as the effect can be, with a great body even, the card came to the wrong class, and so, won't see much play.
