Excuse me to ask, but do you play ranked mode in wild? Never seen the last version of Even Shaman? Its filled up with overload stuff, like Flamewreathed Faceless, Totem Golem, Jade Claws, etc.
This legendary will be, IMO, perfect for this deck.
Yes, I played ranked mode and even reached rank 5. I don't care about pushing forward and reaching legend, because I don't want to play against burn mage anymore. But anyway, I just didn't face that many even shamans on the ladder and most of them were the old version. My most common encounters were odd paladin, burn/miracle mage, murloc shaman, mech hunter, odd/kingsbane rogue and big priest.
The only bad thing about this card is that wild spell hunter can't include it in his deck. 4 mana and 7/7 stats on the board, how can you say no to that.
Yes, they said that in a specific situation like this for example, it would actually offer you two or even three aoes, just to tell you "you really need to clear this board!" :D and gives you option like Brawl, so you can play something else on your turn or Twisting Nether, if you want to be sure everything dies etc.
Yes, ty. I understood that. But I wanted to ask something else (it was my mistake for not being clear in my post). I meant to ask whether I would get ONLY board clears as discovery options, but kingcolor answered my question.
Huge buff to Overload and Even Overload shaman (if the latter deck becomes a thing in wild).
It already is. This card is really good for that deck
I wasn't aware, because I've never faced it so far. I have always played against the old version, which ran big minions like Ragnaros and the LK. But thanks for bringing this up, now I know.
I am almost certain, that this will replace Maelstrom Portal in even shaman. The battlecry also offers some quest synergies. The card is already good, but Vessina makes it even better.
It doesn't synergize with the spellpower totem plus it overloads you for one the next turn.
Yes, I was aware of that, I just thought that the 2/2 body would be good enough, but I admit I could be wrong.
On theory, this could ruin your opponent's top-deck if you give them a worthless 1-drop. Imagine, that you face a control warrior and manage to steal their Brawl. You won't play it obviously, but if you have a threatening board, you just limit their answers. In practice I think people would prefer having more synergistic cards in their decks than a plain 3/3.

Anti-synergies with Zul;jin. If you cast it, you won't get any of the other good minion summoning spells like Unleash the Beast from him. This might help hunter complete the quest faster, but 20 minions are a lot and this is kinda weak for a mid-game board swarming tool. Unleash the Hounds would be better in most cases.
The only good thing I could say about this are the Hyena synergies.
Yet another legendary with a boring effect. That said, Rogue would be grateful for having that 5 mana legendary, that reduces the cost of deathrattles in hand to (1). This in combination with Backstab allows them to cycle a lot of cards.
Not bad, not bad. This has some synergies with the quest and it could be really annoying in zoo priest - you try to damage their minions and then this card instantly heals them.
Good point. ;)
There could be some Mecha'thun synergies, which this enables (if the 10-drop is the only minion in your hand that is).

Cool card in wild evolve decks.
Well, paladin just found another good card to put in their quest deck.

Callback card.

Thanks all, but I'm still confused:
If the enemy has a lot of minions on the board and I'm low on health, I would probably get an AOE, right?
Oh my, that would be a hell of a value generation. If only people could hold more than 10 cards in hand.
Btw since this generates mage minions only, the result should be oftentimes satisfying.

The card is sweet in arena.
I dig the flavour, but sadly Hench-Clan Hogsteed is better.
A cheaper Rumbletusk Shaker, whose token has only 1 health. Good in arena, but I don't think this would make the cut in quest paladin.
