I will say Faelin is the kind of freebie card I love. Gives you a way to see the other legendaries in the set and rewards you for playing the new mechanic. Especially since I got to play them all in one deck! Sad though that Tess is a bit too slow this meta, ah well, maybe in the next.
I love the Demon hunter cards. Fits really well. Mah'jin and Arena Invader are particular favorites.
Spirit of the Bat would be much better in your version. Warlock was my favorite of Rastakhan's Rumble. Hir'eek, the Bat was my legendary of the set and I tried so hard to make it work.
Also own a Golden Gurubashi Offering I've never played and refuse to disenchant it! I'll find a use for it someday. Much like Caravan's from Barrens, having to sit on the card until your next turn to get anything from it is real punishing. They keep printing cards like that too weak in stats or effect. Love to see some buffs to some of these types of cards, just a health or two like you did can make all the difference.
Been tempted to craft Lost in the Park for both standard and wild for a while. Always liked the idea of attack druid. Or maybe I just want to be like Guff and shout "Bear Hug!" when I attack.
Something else interesting that just happened, I just logged back in and got a pop up saying that my bundle contained Auctioneer Jaxon. That was from United in Stormwind and I don't think I got a bundle from that expansion. I'm somewhat confused.
Did you happen to claim your twitch prime free legendary card at some point? That could be the random one you got since it could be from any set incurrent standard.
Did a Faelin warrior too that was fun. That's it so far. Got a few more packs off reward track to open, maybe something else will inspire me!
Got a good haul from opening about 50ish packs from gold. I got about 4 out of it. Plus the rewards track and freebies bring me to 8 total. Still haven't crafted any or touched wild.
The mill hunter made me laugh. I definitely gotta try that out. Probably starting off with big hunter though with Vandar and Ickman, as that was my favorite deck in Alterac. There is a lot I want to try so it'll all depend on what I pull. Good luck in pack openings everyone!

Then add in say a legendary weapon for DH since it wasn't around for Kobolds and catacombs.
Or Making Mummies and reborn didn't quite get enough play space so they add a few more to give it a boost.
Even reworks of cards that never saw use but that they have no intention of pulling into core anytime soon. I.e. Flame Leviathan.
Just ideas but a think a themed set once a year with some reprints and splashy new cards would be nice to shake up wild a bit. As for "Why not in standard" question, I think they can target and push power levels a bit more if they go directly to wild.
Such a cool concept. Sadly the supposing cards are just so slow. Blizzard seemed to taxed this mechanic in mana cost. We'll see if that was warranted in the theory crafting stream.

Wish it said "all curses". That way it could play with past and future curse cards. This being self contained its really mini set or bust. That's a shame as it's a fun idea.
This and Zaq'ul are the 2 legendaries this set in my "probably not good but I'm gonna craft them anyway" pile.
This just looks hilarious. I enjoyed Tickatus when he first came out too. He ended up being a bit too easy to copy/corrupt. Hooktusk seems slower but it is "summon" so maybe that Azsharan sunken spell will actually help.
Either way looking forward to plundering my opponents in the future.
Zero mana dredge cards are crazy strong. Druid got the better one as it can (conditionally) draw but this is very close. Especially Ina Reno/highlander style deck being able to set up your turns in advance will be very strong.
Lack of Mech tag sucks, though. It also doesn't make a lot of sense, since it looks a lot like The Curator.
You are right. Weird this isn't a mech. Has similar bodies to The Curator (who is) and Arcane Golem (who isnt) a mech. I am sure it's something to do with magic vs mechanical construction. However it looks like the same mistake they did with witchwood Grizzly not being a beast. That set wanted more beasts, this set cares about mechs, seems like a miss.
Side note I've never seen a golden Curator before. Looks sick.
While it's fun to imagine getting this guy big in the end game I don't think that's his strength.
This with the coin is just a strong early play. The new 0 mana spell too can help when off coin. This is a strong early body to stick around for buffs or to trigger "if you played a naga" spells.
Looks like fun. I'll give it a shot for sure.

Level 73 on the Paid RT right now. Been having a blast with a Pirate Thief Rogue. Using the new Pirate Admiral Hooktusk and Ambassador Faelin, along with dredge, to create some strong Contraband Stash turns.

Love that mage deck. Looks like a blast to play with some underused cards in it; Body Wrapper and Hex Lord Malacrass Archmage Arugal. Love decks that make use of these weird cards.

Took a few restarts but they were there for me once I got through all the pop ups.
Ambassador Faelin and Tess Greymane have been fun with all the dredge. Got a 30 attack Glugg the Gulper from that. Hedra the Heretic is also super fun. The boards you can generate are interesting. Be careful with those zero cost spells! So...many...Murloc Tinyfin!

I think this card is real good. Agreesive and makes your future spell come a turn earlier. I think even non naga based decks will use it.
