Love this card one of my favorites so far in the set. Draw set up plus a buff is nice. Stats are not the best but being a mech I can see this being solid in a magnetic handbuff deck in wild.
While I agree face is stronger Ickman worked out better than anticipated. With the new guy who adds colossal minions to the bottom and most colossals so far are beasts. I think that could be a really fun deck.
Yes this card is crazy powerful, I agree. I still think with with the right tools big beast hunter could still be a decent deck. It depends alot on what cards come in and what cards go out for other classes, especially in core. Still I have high hopes as it was my favorite deck of Alterac.
Ozumat! One of my favorite boss fights from Cataclysm. Just a giant squid that kidnaps and elemental lord! That's so cool.
Also hyped for what this could mean for a year. I'm thinking either Elemental planes (AbysallMaw -> Deepholm -> Firelands) or perhaps a Titan prison tour (Nazjatar* -> City of Ahn'Quiraj -> Ulduar).

I appreciate these. Despite not playing Yu-gi-oh for years, I love all card games. Learning the basics and card details is interesting. The art in this game too is very different from most other games. That Pot of Avarice is something else.
My favorite Yugioh game was War of the Roses (I think) for the ps2. You played the cards but on a chess like board. That's most of my Yugioh experience.

126 now with Tavern pass. Slower than I would have liked but a lot of games I play all updating soonish has me pulled in many directions. The mini set should correct that a bit though! Onyxia's Layer was not my first raid oddly. The guild I was in was more advanced but had attendance issues so I got to tag along. Simple single dragon encounter but felt epic and I got loot from it mostly because I didn't pull any whelps on my first try! Still a great memory with many friends and not many whelps! :D
Very fun event. Love to see more events in the future. Not even just faction war but:
1) building supplies in an event preparing for an expansion. (Think opening of AQ for wow players).
2) choosing an npc or faction and racing to collect fossils or some such in an archeological dig event.
3) Choosing a profession and "crafting" the best armor or weapon (voting somehow on what card gets the diamond treatment but in game).
Random ideas but the point is players getting to somehow choose what card gets a shiny boarder or maybe what character becomes a playable hero is fun. Especially when it involves playing the game more.

Love the evolution of the deck. Shirvalla is one of those cards I always think about crafting when I have enough dust. This deck might make me do it. I have been looking for an excuse to use Thekal too.
When I first got Drek I used him alot. Now that I have Van, that discount is real strong. I think Drek'thar is a bit harder to build around. Vandar makes sense, small spells into big dudes. Drek there is always a minion that feels essential (like matriarch for druid). Also if you don't hit Vanndar the deck usually still feels good. Drek'thar however, if you don't draw him feels so much worse plus all the low cost battlecry minions that are useful but stink with Drek.
Still no regrets, for the horde! I'm sure he'll find a stronger place soon.

Jan11 tally determines the Diamond version we end up with.
So you end up with both golden faction leaders and 1 diamond of the winner. You are safe to disenchant the normal versions you get out of packs. I completed high warlord last week and have both golden versions.
Ooh I missed this at the start. Just hit 69 (nice) today as well as finished my High Warlord Quest. I got a Vanndar early on but dusted him as I got closer to the golden reward. Been enjoying the expansion with a variety of decks. Favorites are Big Spell Mage and Ichman Hunter! Not good decks but so fun.
This time I did get the pass. Got a decent haul on Legends too so far. Enjoying this set a lot as a casual ranked player. Looking forward to end of month rewards and the mini-set to come.
1st Game Vs Questline Priest w/ Nozdormu. I got to them too fast with Clockwork Giant. Put up a great fight but had to use alot of removal early as I cheated them out. Finished off with Troll Centurion honorable kill.
2nd Game Vs Hand Lock. Fast Giant again set them off balance. By the time they had Tickatus corrupted they were dead.
3rd Game vs Elemental Shaman with a Nozdormu. I had a bad starting hand and they were very aggressive. Got me down to 1hp despite my clearing as much as possible. Lucky Commencement into Mo'arg Forgefiend almost wasn't even. Heavy Plate andLokholar the Ice Lord won me the game.
2 out of 3 games with Nozdormu the Eternal in ranked. So fun! Forgot it even was the 15th, thanks for the reminder.
Ending my Stormwind reward track (free) on 169. Nice! Usually I would have pushed to 200 but didn't play as much this expansion. Not quite the games fault other games have been releasing stuff I've been sucked into.
Deadmines did renew my playing however and the choose a side thing is great. Drek'thar is fun! Can't wait to get Vandar as well.
I'll probably purchase the next pass as Alterac seems like my kind of expansion. Can't wait for the new cards. All the hero cards look fun to me so I won't be disappointed.
Journey Below was fun but is too open being filled with neutrals and Rogue cards. Reconnaissance is much more narrow. It guaranties stealing a class card and adds in a cost reduction. I think the new card is a much better version and I will definitely be playing it.
Contraband Stash also seems excellent. If you discover your stolen cards well this will be very strong. Playing this in a much more focused burgle style deck will be potent.
The other burgle support is just icing on the stolen cake!
This is nuts and I love it. Even has some versatility to double up something like Tracking in a slower deck.
Seems strong if we get some good weapon. Maybe needs that sidekick from wailing caverns to come down before it? Definitely has potential.

I love seeing cards like Knight of the Wild finally finding a home. Looks like a lot of fun. Just got Mulvrick the other day too.

Playing N'Zoth, God of the Deep Commencement Warrior with Noz.

The cheese thief is my favorite. Made me laugh. Reminds me of something out of a Saturday morning cartoon.
