Exactly the same thoughts! Obviously there might be a few things in Wild/Legacy that need to be kept in check, but I say only in extreme circumstances. Everything else, let it run wild!
Then in a Limited style format, rotate things in and out, ban problematic/polarizing cards if needed, etc. Bans would be only for if a single card pushes a class/archetype to a far higher power level than everyone else.
Hell, I’d even go so far as to say remove a lot of the gross mana cheating stuff so players in the mode have to think, make good trades, and play a more “old school” style of the game!
That’s basically an idea I’ve had before for the third format. Use the same card pool as Arena! But honestly, would be better if they went and had a different card pool for a new constructed set. Take like 9 sets, and Adventure or two, maybe Core, and filter out things that are too strong in the format with the available card pool. Even better if by rule they commonly ban cost reduction and ways to cheat out big things! Imagine a format that requires thinking and good trades to win! They should honestly just replace Classic with something like this
Personally, I’ve wanted a “Limited” format for a while! Whether it’s Wild but with some bans, or more preferably a format with rotating sets from Wild and Standard sets (that could also have a few bans), a Wild-like format with a more limited card pool would be much easier for the team to balance down the line without having to disrupt what Wild is supposed to be. That way the players who like crazy busted decks can play Wild, and players who like playing with old cards, but want a more varied meta can find it in the limited format.
Especially since the flavor text explains that this is basically The Curator infused with the Light. Seems like a mistake by the HS team to not be a mech.
Along with the legendary quests that I immediately got rid of, I conveniently got the “Play 2 Tavern Brawls” daily yesterday. I don’t think so, Blizzard!
Did they ever disclose any info on changes to player base after implementing the new BGs season pass? Curious to know if a lot of people left? Has it been a success?
This deck is for the older Gift Exchange brawl, but it worked pretty well for me still during this one. Two quick wins to get a pack and finish an xp quest!
I got them sometime this morning. Just logged and saw them appear. It's just weird to me that YouTube is making a big enough play towards the streaming market that they sign exclusive deals with streamers and esports leagues, but their drops system is so bad
Looking back at old articles trying to see exactly when the exclusive deal ends, Hearthstone was described as being “thrown in for free”. So even when the deal was made, before viewership dropped, it’s like they didn’t really care about HS eSports.
Watched quite a lot of this and despite my accounts being connected, no packs! They don’t really matter, but at the same time they do. I’m sure a lot of f2p people rely on free packs like this to build their collections up.
Hopefully they’re just late, even though it’s been more than 48 hrs at this point. And hopefully Blizzard does not continue their YouTube only deal when it expires!
EDIT: Packs arrived finally. It makes me wonder if they can’t directly proc the packs so instead they ship a data log to Blizz, and someone on their side has to input that somewhere to proc the pack rewards? Would make sense why their system takes so long
Probably generated an Azsharan Defector at some point, it died, and they Dredged it up. Or the opponent was Demon Hunter and had the Sunken Defector in their deck after their Azsharan Defector died, Priest stole a copy of the Sunken minion.

“Booster Magnet” is probably something you can give a card to increase the chances of getting boosters for that card.

I had a horde of Standard packs and opened them first at launch. First one had a regular and signature legendary from the new set.
