Huh well colour me surprised, I guess I was wrong. Upon seeing the cards for it I suppose I can actually see it a bit. He got into robo-rumble style stuff...pun entirely intended.
I hope it isn't because after Sion got released I felt queasy playing Noxus since it got so...dark and vicious....that said if they wanna do it that way I guess nothing can stop them.
Is this confirmed or just speculation? Because I personally really doubt that unless they just threw in some new lore that made no sense for the character at all. They have done that to an extent given Ziggs but at least with Ziggs you could justify it if you squint really hard. Noxus on the other hand is a country all about being the best and earning your way and meanwhile Rumble is a runt of the litter that has a robot that is...sort of a mess.
Actually on further thought I feel like this has to be played in Ionia right? As much as it hasn't seen play thus far I feel like a game plan like this NEEDS to have that Ionian landmark with the recall generating effect.
If it is connected to this expansion at all it is entirely possible we might get a void being here...it somewhat reminded me of Vel'Koz but he doesn't have an eye lid. It could be that I'm over thinking it though and it is just art to make him look impressive as he battles a massive beast.
I hope this works...it seems cool and I like the idea behind it. The issue is that I don't think this gives enough pay off for the cost of recall. You are paying a card in hand after all in order to send something back to your hand. This is so easy to disrupt as well since your opponent can wait to use removal only when you are about to return something to your hand. No slow speed removal sees consistent play other than thermogenic beam after all so they can easily just say "if you don't wanna bounce it back to hand then I won't shoot it with my mystic shot" or whatever. Anyway I have my doubts, but I like the concept none the less.
Not sure I entirely agree, but I can see your point. This doesn't offer infinite minions though, and I think weapon removal will be pretty common so the weapon won't actually live forever in most cases I bet. That said I do think you're mostly correct otherwise, if we were in a control meta where hard removal was rampant then this might be easier to manage against but in our current meta these buffs will matter and stick easier. I don't see a control meta ever happening either since if we ever get that slow something like quest warlock will just make a come back and kill it.
If you're right then I would be thrilled. I wouldn't mind quest mage if it was a little more in the control direction...and if they got rid of infinite face damage with ignite.
Well this...is certainly something...what it is I'm not entirely sure. It is so hard to assess this since the mana combinations are massively varying both in number and in efficacy.

So I suspect that Rumble himself will be pure BC since they chose to have no specific region tied to robotic yordle shenanigans.
Right...I really hope that's not the way it turns out being used...I'd not thought about things like summoning tokens though.

Oh okay, good to know. I very much hope its free, it would be a shame to lock one mercenary out of ten behind another purchase.

So...am I missing something or did Tavish just get shafted and left behind in terms of portraits?
I mean mostly...with the exception of quest paladins if they are a thing.
Yes, because it specifically says resummon Korrak
It is...actually embarrassing how bad this card is.
Holy shit I love it. Finally a proper removal option for Mage.

Not as flashy as some of the others but you won't see me complaining about it. I like this.
Sigh...
Here I was hoping that I'd be able to escape from quest mage for a little bit.

I mean its cute....but what deck would ever want a card your opponent can so easily play around?
