Question about the themes for each competition: How do we pick the theme? Does it get chosen by the community or the OutOfCards staff? I wanted to suggest a Darkmoon Faire themed competition seeing that many people believe the last expansion of the year will have to do with the Darkmoon Faire (due to the resembling teaser and the Faire reference in the Outlands Trailer)
Every winner gets to pick the theme for a competition. For example, I won the fifth competition, and the next day I got a PM asking for contest ideas. I sent in a couple different themes that I came up with, the staff debated them, and the seventh competition was the idea they thought was best out of the ones I pitched (in this case, Demons for classes other than Warlock and DH).
Encore is an incredible combo card, but with the Highlander restriction blocking both duplicates and Rogue shuffling shenanigans, it'd take a lot more creativity to pull off a combo with it. I went with Hall of Fame because 1) that's where the real ETC is, and 2) there isn't really an expansion that fits this guy.
Had this happen in a Wild match where Wandering Monster summoned an Imprisoned Observer that killed the attacker but came out without a scratch. But it was my secret so I was totally fine with this bug.
Thanks. Going through all 40+ submissions by refresh though is going to get old very fast.
Why not just show all submissions on the page with a random order? That way everyone sees different cards first or last and you can much much more quickly look and see if your idea is present or not. 40 images isn't exactly server breaking (and you could auto-generate lightweight thumbnails of them for that page if needed).
I'd submit a different card now given the other Rogue Secret with Dormant in the pool but sadly I can't remove my entry. Shouldn't it be possible to modify/update/replace your entry until the voting phase starts? Until then no one can vote, so what's the harm right? Otherwise whoever throws down a card quickly enough will get free additional votes by virtue of being present on the voting page earlier. Timezones alone would make that unfair.
Maybe a timer or a specific amounts of views would be needed to lock in your card before the voting phase?
The problem is that voting is already open during the submission phase. The voting phase is just an extra 24 hours to make sure people can vote for late submissions. Also once you vote for a card it leaves the voting page and appears on the 'My Votes' tab where you can see everything at once, so that might be what you're looking for. While it'd be nice to have a way to modify your cards to fix typos or wording issues, I think outright deleting cards after people have already voted on them could lead to problems.

A secret inspired by Molten Reflection that can summon a copy of an enemy minion to protect your hero.
New cards! It's taken longer than I would have liked to get this out because of life getting in the way, but I finally made the Outland set. For this I had the idea of adding some Demon synergy to the class. I don't think I'll add any more, but I hope that the cards included could make some interesting decks (especially with neutral Demons like Rustsworn Cultist, Mad Summoner, and the Portal minions). It's also an opportunity to bring in more minion-based cards after the heavy spell focus in Year of the Dragon (Shado-Pan Overlord is meant to bridge the gap between Nefarian's run and classic Tactician). The power of the void calls… In Ashes of Outland, Tacticians have made a deal with the Demons for power with cards like Huojin Felblade, Fel Volley, and Dark Alliance. Prince Xavalius will help take out your opponent's big hitters, while Chen the Corrupted will show what happens when you embrace the darkness.

Thanks for the input, I retooled it as a Priest card. Although I also came up with another card I might go with instead.
Underbelly Trickster is a Plot Twist for your opponent's deck and a strong anti-combo tool.

Not sure if I'll go with this, but here's my first idea:
An inverse of Sightless Watcher that gives you a peek into your opponent's deck and lets you sabotage their next draw.
Note that this also means that your opponent's random effects will only hit their own characters.
Next up, a GvG minion with Mech synergy (you can decide if you want it to be a Mech or not).
