I really hope that future expansions will just jump into reveal season like this instead of the old two-week silence. This is way better for building hype.
@Iskar: Does that mean that Murlocs can magnetize to each other, or just to Mechs? Because if it's the latter, I can't see this having too much use outside of combos.
@linkblade: Both are good cards, but I think Forge Elemental is the more interesting and flavorful of the two.
Here are two ideas I've had, although I have an idea for another if I can find fitting artwork for it.
Would a card like this work? Still thinking of ideas.
I don't know, any card that can generate infinite face damage could be abused. There would need to be a bigger punishment to playing it than just replacing one of your cards.
A Rogue legendary that can copy enemy minions when it attacks them. I think it'd be pretty versatile, since early game it could get you minions for tempo and late game it could get you something big.
I like the other finalists here, a lot of cool ideas. I think this was a harder theme to come up with cards for because of the power level being a whole lot higher than normal. But I like the ideas that everyone came up with (Mark of Dalaran and Rodney being my two favorites). May the best card win!
A Tombs of Terror treasure that summons the four Uldum League members with their battlecries. Not much to say about it except that it is a big swing but could be tricky to best use while accounting for all four battlecry effects.
I noticed that the Fan Creations menu doesn't appear in the Hearthstone dropdown menu that appears on other portals, the only way to access it is to go into the Hearthstone portal first.
Decided to make a villainous sidequest, in this case Warlock healing that requires you to damage yourself first. Not sure how the power level is but thought it was an interesting concept.
He's too small for your opponent to see him, so the only way for the opponent to hit it is with AoE effects. If you can get some buffs on him, he can be very powerful.
New cards! Since this is the last set for Year of the Dragon and Galakrond's Awakening doean't have any specifics to work with, I figured I'd use this to give Tacticians some Lackey interactions (which I didn't give much attention in the other sets). And Dueling Dragons is a removal card with a lot of RNG, but considering Tactician Galakrond decks I think it fits.
I also decided to reduce Ancient Swipe to 2 damage and 2 Mana so it's not exactly like Seal Fate (which was a dumb oversight on my part). And to Demonxz, I know I made a lot of secrets for Tactician, but I wanted to make sure they had a healthy amount since I'm not planning to make more outside of Year of the Dragon.
I'll probably make some boss battles for Awakening to explain what happened to Nefarian, but I don't know when I'll get around to that.
Single-target removal for Druid via a series of deadly owls. Can also trigger any cards that interact with friendly minions dying such as Floop's Glorious Gloop.
The only card I see any issues with is Evolving Tactics, since it doesn't make much sense as a Secret. Secrets should have some interaction with your opponent, either where they trigger it or something your opponent can prevent (like Competitive Spirit). Either you should change it so the opponent interacts with it or raise the Mana and have it trigger immediately.
Otherwise I like the set, it has identity and interesting ideas. Keep up the good work!
"All aboard the S.S. Betrayer, to sail the seas of treachery!" is the best thing I've heard in a while.
Considering the naming scheme they've used for other 1,000 win heroes, my guess is Betrayer Illidan

I can't believe they're adding a new class. This is insane.
Also, any ideas for what the Outcast keyword does?
Came up with this zombie-themed idea, but is this a good power level?
They also have themes for members that donate to the Patreon. The one I have is the bronze tier, but they also have silver and gold tiers.

Congrats Demonxz! Your card was great, I'm kind of surprised they didn't have that in the actual Dalaran Heist.

The year card backs are always cool. Bring on the dragon back!

Next up, a Naxxramas Legendary.
