That is one of the most sincere apologies in the game.  :P Too bad we shall never see it.

I'm not gonna say anything in regard to how to play or what to avoid since I'm not that experienced myself. I believe I know what the upgrade label means though. If I'm not mistaken it is referring to the fact that at random rewards can be improved as they are given to you. For example a card that was rare might be upgrade into a rare wild card or a rare wild card might become an epic wild card. I've had chests even get upgraded from Silver to Gold before.

I do feel the health is a bit too low personally. Especially given the fact that you can't heal over the starting amount so you have to often hold back your cards in burn heavy match ups.

I agree given stuff like Evocation can literally complete the quest alone as it is right now. Sure that requires some luck but that isn't unheard of at all.

I know nothing about the deck but if you're asking for thoughts I immediately lean toward beasts. I have a few reasons but the only really meaningful reason is that the tokens from Nagrand Slam itself are beasts so any synergies within the deck with beasts could also be applied to them if the game somehow carries on past the use of the first Nagrand Slam.

It's pretty hard to be sneaky about these when they have a set collection of characters that they can use. Unless they throw a curve ball and add a character as a champion that isn't from LoL I don't see who else it could be.

If this ain't Quinn I don't know what is.

They are all even wearing the Demacian colours.

Good turn 2 card, and works really well with demon hunter. Kinda like demon hunters Frightened Flunky. Looks like this might see quite some play. Also this says any demon, so probably other class demons as well.

Unless they specify 'from any class' it will only be neutral or Demon Hunter.

I feel like Murgur is never bad. A 2 mana 2/1 with divine shield isn't ideal but it is perfectly serviceable. I mean a 2/2 with divine shield was one of the best two drops ever printed. On top of that you get a large board for 8 mana out of the prime. This could be good even in a control deck with no other murlocs.

Worth keeping in mind that unlike Pyroblast this has to deal with taunt though. Playing this along side Kayn will be difficult if not impossible and even then its a two card combo for 11 damage which is harder to pull off than 2 fireballs which does 12 damage and only costs 8 mana.

I don't see a world where this isn't played by every deck. Even if you are a slower control deck a 4 mana 3/5 that can ensure trades even through taunt seems insane. This has perfectly acceptable stats for a 4 mana minion that can attack on the turn its played as well. Even if this had rush instead of charge it would see play.

Am I wrong or does Al'ar not fit the conditions for Rebirth as well?

funny because I was thinking of taking a break because of all the Elusive spam that fundamentally invalidates the core gameplay.

I guess we'll see in a week if they're able to correctly identify and address problems in the game.

I'm not a Runeterra player (haven't played the game even once), but I've read about this "Elusive" issue many times and we can say that I got pretty curious.

To put it simple, what's the matter? Why is it perceived so poorly?

To put it in simple terms it is like having flying before they added reach, though saying that is also making the assumption that reach fixed flying in MtG

Maybe I'm insane but I think Archmage Vargoth might be one of the single most unhealthy cards to ever be printed in the history of Hearthstone. The bullshit that priest and mage can pull off just because that card exists is actually disgusting.

I realize these are very different games but I would enjoy a mind set similar to the one that Riot takes with League of Legends. I remember an employee there saying something along the lines of. "We don't think perfection is possible but a goal doesn't need to be possible for us to work toward it." Once again I don't think they are the same games but think of it in the sense that all the champions in league are different moving parts in a machine. These parts are constantly altered to make the machine different in some way. The same goes for cards in wild, these could constantly be altered to make things a little different. Once again the dust return stuff becomes an issue there but in my opinion dust return shouldn't even be a thing since it inhibits balance. For the final time I am not comparing Hearthstone to LoL I am comparing creative mind sets for the developers of them. The product doesn't have to be seen as finished ever, things can always be up for change and in fact in a game that is an online long term game as opposed to one you finish and move away from, that should be how it's seen.

I hate this view that they have where they think that only standard should be known for having shifting meta's and changes. Nothing that you consider part of your game should be left to stagnate like it doesn't matter to you. I don't expect them to change every card that comes to wild but they don't NEED to. They only need to change decks that come out on top consistently. I'm not even asking for this to happen based on whether they are over powered I just mean that they could do it to shift the meta in wild and give other decks ways to shine. More importantly they say they want people to be able to play their old decks that they love and then constantly make more and more overpowered cards that just take those old cards and smother them with a pillow. A great example of this (at least in my opinion) is Elise the Trailblazer which is one of my favourite cards from Un'Goro. It was a card that a large amount of controlling decks liked to run back in the days when Un'Goro was standard yet now even the most controlling decks in Wild are so capable of pressuring you constantly with cards like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza that you can't afford to play any kind of slow value game with cards from old sets. I have no idea if anyone would even agree with me on this, likely not, but it's largely how I see the situation here.

The dust refunds in my opinion are a bad thing for the game. I wish that Blizzard would remove the dust refunds entirely because then they might be more inclined to balance the game regularly. If you invest in a powerful deck I think it should just come with the risk that you know it could end up nerfed. If they removed the dust system we could get balance changes more consistently without Blizzard always worrying about giving us too much dust. I know that they shouldn't be that worried about it anyway but if I had to choose between regular balance changes and free dust I'd take the balance 100% of the time.

I've actually had moderate success with a even beast druid in wild and this would be insane in it. This allows any even deck to just skip the five mana mark when it is played on curve and jump right to those 6 cost minions like Menagerie Warden.

Care to share that decklist? Sounds interesting!

Apparently I have no idea how to post a deck since I keep getting the invalid ID text. It is on my profile though. I can't say its all that strong, mostly a bit of a home brew with some questionable cards such as Tyrantus and Mark of the Loa. That said I've had good results with it.
