Very confident (still could be wrong) that Ixtal will get lumped into Shurima. Also I am pretty sure Ivern is Ionia because he became what he is after killing a special tree. He and his group were originally from Freljord I think? but then he invaded Ionia, cut down a tree and as the price for doing so he became a being that cared about nature more than anything.
That or he became the tree he destroyed? I don't fully recall what the meaning behind the transformation was specifically.
I weill just state something not related to the card effect, Nocturne is NOT a shadow isles champion, it has no ties to the region, Nocturne, Evelynn,Fiddlesticks, tham kench are all demons they are essentially regionless
But Nocturne really fits shadow isles in the theme and mechanics (fearsome) and I doubt they would put him in demacia or something cause that's where he operates.. I had a disscussion before the taragon/bilgewater spoilers abotu where they would even put those regionless demons guess shadow isles.. since there are 7 shadow isles champions by lore anyway..
I am surprised by Lulu going into Ionia not cause Lulu can't be operating in Ionia it makes perfect sense.. but cause there are like 15 Ionian champions in league it's one of the bigger regions so using a none-native champion that early.. that being said they used both teemo and heimer really early too although both being from bandle city as well so they are kind of wild cards in terms of their placements.
I think a lot of champions that don't have a region are going to be slipped into ones that just fit thematically. Fiddlesticks for example will likely be a Shadow Isles character despite not being from there, and I am guessing that when Tristana shows up she will be Piltover. As for the Lulu thing, I believe it was more of a thematic thing, wanting champions to have interesting interactions together. For example Taric and Lulu fit well and that was something they were aiming for. They wanted someone who could match the support theme they were going into and not many of the current champions in Ionia are very fitting for a support focused build. Lillia is rather new and though I haven't played since before she was released I don't think she is a full on support, Ivern is a jungler and though he is rather support oriented he is sort of an enigma thematically.
It is the unusual and a little problematic (despite me actually liking it a little) way in which they phrase things. Having cards refer to themselves as if they are doing something themselves.
Only reason it might see play is because there are so few good healing options, if any at all. I'd argue that even the ones that exist are bad but see use because there's nothing else.
Oh, you can be sure I'm going to try and make a Nautilus deck with this fella!
Can I ask why? I don't see any inherent synergies. This guy doesn't help dig through the deck and the only Sea Monster that is 8+ mana is in Shadow Isles. Not saying you're wrong but curious what the plan is here
They really need to stop over valuing healing. Healing it twice as important in this game than almost any other with it having such a small health pool, and the inability to heal over the cap. The cards they have for it never feel good to put into a deck.
Am I missing something or does Icequake seem like a really awkward spell to play? I mean often the 9 mana aoe for Shadow Isles feels too slow to get into a turn, and this is only 1 mana less and does so much less. I don't really think Icequake will see a lot of use outside of being attached to Trundle through being his Champion spell. Boards have gotten too big and to be honest so long as Deep decks are at the top end of the meta I have trouble seeing Trundle as a likely option either since playing him and his pillar are really slow.
The same vault will remain until you open it I believe. Meaning you could keep building one up but it is much, much slower and much worse return as it grows. So in the end you will just be losing out if you try to save it over multiple weeks, at least if I'm right on that.
I feel like Deep decks are in that region of unhealthy but not top tier. It feels like they either get a nutty draw and keep you completely held off for the entire game until they become an unstoppable power house, or flop because they drew poorly and are facing a hyper aggressive deck. It's also worth mentioning that certain match ups are instant wins for them, since slower control style decks have no way of pressuring them enough early and can't match their late game output.
Don't have a deck list made up sadly, that said meta or not (more likely not) I wanna try a Spell Control Shaman with Instructor Fireheart, Speaker Gidra, Lady Vashj and Educated Elekk to ensure that the prime has spells to draw.
The crown he is wearing was given to him by one of the old Pantheon's and due to his arrogance and pride Aurelion accepted it not realizing it was a way to control him. Not that he wears it he has to obey the Pantheon's commands or else they extinguish stars that he created (the equivalent to Aurelion's children) as punishment. I believe it is something like that. I enjoy the lore a lot but its hard to retain it all.
Seems neat but sorta weak with the beast pool in standard right now. I'm hoping they give us some solid beasts but for now I'm not sure this will do much.
I find it frustratingly amusing that people constantly ask for more attention in wild, and Blizzard basically does the polar opposite and gives up on wild more with every set.

Fair enough. Though how you intend to make Nautilus reach Deep without Maokai and his toss still is admittedly something I'm not sure of.

Only card out of these ones that seems all that impressive is Uzgar. Challenge and Regeneration together seems like it could be pretty powerful.

Well if this isn't a lead up to Lulu I don't know what is.

Agreed and well said.

Very cool card, but 2 copies in every deck is unlikely to go well.
Agreed, though I wouldn't mind the same happening to a few Warlock Demons honestly.

Do you have to Blizzard? Do you have no regard for the crimes you commit...?
