    1) Never Surrender any games until Platinum.
    2) Keep your ego in check. If your opponent has not surrender, always assume they have have an out.

My latest ranked game is an important example of both of these, players will do some incredible stupid things whether by ego or they oversee a solution. These will net you free wins.

My opponent has 4 health left and I have 13 health left. This Braum/Vlad had my Kninkou Elusives against a wall with 6 units on the field, one with overwhelm, a braum, and 4 other unites. Braum pulled my elusive unit leaving me just an Shadow Assassin to block with. The five units on the board is dealing 17 damage (3 atk Overwhelm, 4 atk, 4 atk, 3 atk, 3 atk). With the units on the field he can kill me as is. Instead of letting it go, he decides to gloat. He drops his last two 2 braum's on the 3 atk overwhelm buffing him instead of holding them. He then spams Braum emote for the duration of the timer. I will his buffed overwhelm and block a 4 atk unit.  He Darius emotes me and emotes the entire time he has priority. I drop my elusive unit in hand and we both have zero cards. I top deck a buff to swing for lethal and my opponent draws a brick.

The opponent adds me as a friend and proceeds to spam some inappropriate comments and blocks me.

This is why you don't surrender in lower ranks. Not sure if the same applies in higher ranks as I doubt people make these silly mistakes in higher elo. Maybe a Master Tier player can confirm.

Aggro is always good during a new patch, things will eventually settle down, but you will have to learn to play against aggro. It's a style of play that will never go away due to the quick games and easy climb. Another deck that you should get use to facing is Kinkou Elusives as this deck was never nerfed. It just faded away when burn got overbuffed. It's no surprise to see Kinkou Elusives #1 again with it's anti-decks taking up the rest of Tier 1. Burn and Heimer deck.

Endure went down in tier because Escaped Abomination went from 4 health to 3 health. Which is a big deal! The They Who Endure nerf is present, but not too serious. This deck is just too slow against Kinkou Elusives as they will counter any removal you have and hit you with units that Endure can't block. Smart Elusive players %100 mulls Zed and all (non-elusive units). Deny counters any hard removal, Elixir of Iron stop any damage based removal. And Will of Ionia is a pain in your butt.

Now that my mis-leading title has caught your attention. Let's play guess how many new accounts get created to this forum in the next month to specifically complain about:

    1) Elusives
    2) Aggro Burn Style Decks
    3) Braum

I would offer a reward for a successful guess, but I don't want junk accounts created just for someone to get to their number. While I do think Elusives and Aggro Burn Style is about to rule the meta once more. I think Vlad/Braum might actually be scary now.

Call me a Negative Nancy, but I think we will see 5 new accounts create threads complaining about the above.

What Kansas said was accurate, you have to confirm the block before it is officially a block. This is one of the negatives about Burst speed vs Fast Speed. Also keep in mind Overwhelming will run over the defenders as if it wasn't there either. Not sure if the ghost card remains there or not, but it is something to consider.

I would prefer not to buff Anivia as a new card might bring her into the spotlight.  However since we are living in this world of buffing and nerfing crds. I would be in favor of bringing her mana cost down to 6 if you lowered her health to 3. 4 health upon level up. Even then this might overbuff the crap out of her.

I will point out one little thing MF has over Anivia.

MF isn't required to attack to get her effect. Anivia must attack to get her effect.

A lot of the mechanics of this game is learned through experience. Some things I have learned.

Ally = Means any of your units or Nexus.
Unit = Any champion or non-champion.
    Follower = Any non-champion

Ally always confused me because I don't see your Nexus as an "ally".

This issue comes up with Healing effects. "Heal Ally 3."
But the same time there is "Damage any target 1."

The reason for the "Ally' term is to make sure you can't target your opponent. Just like the word "Enemy" on some cards prevents you from targeting your own cards.

I also lost a game to Tryn once because "I killed his first form. Thinking it would stop the attack and return it back to backline in his second form. Do not fall for this as he stays alive and smacks you in second form. That mechanic triggered me a bit when I was new, but thankfully we don't see Tryn that often.

All buffs are stripped from a unit once it is recalled. Edit: I should say buffs are stripped. Cards return to their default state upon recall.

    This includes:
    - Permanent Buffs like Stand Alone.
    - Permanent Keyword added on. Such as Sumpworks Map.
    - Purified Cards such as They Who Endure losing it's wording and becoming a 1/1. Recalling and playing it again will remove the Purify effect.
    - Using Death Mark to remove Ephemeral from Darkwater Scourge then having it recalled will put the Ephemeral back on Darkwater Scourge.
    - This will also include cards that have buffs no matter where the card is such as Mistwraith and Legion Marauder.

Not a Good Indicator of my skill level, but currently Silver I 50-ish LP with a 45-11 record. (I don't play much, like 3 games a day). I heard I am on course for Master Tier with that winrate, but I take it with a grain of salt as it's my friends stuck in plat saying this. Not sure if any master players can confirm this or not, but I am slowly climbing.

I apologize I am first time presenting deck and forgive me if I post it incorrectly. I try to get the list on here. As the title says this is bannerman with a Noxian Twist.

The idea of this is to use the effective Bannerman Demacian core to, but use cards like Darius to overpower certain over midrange regions that like to chump block you like Endure and shadow isles. This deck is a bit weak to Ionia and doesn't like Will of Ionia for obvious reasons. Below is my core build, basically subbed out 3 Garens for 3 Darius and 2 Riposte with 2 Decisive Maneuver.

    Things I have thought about:
Dropping 1 Darius and 1 Swiftwing Lancer to put in 2 Radiant Guardian
Dropping Laurent Protege for Laurent Duelist or Legion Drummer
I even thought about putting in Purify and 2nd Unyielding Spirit.

Not sure why my deck is posting below, but it should be:
    CEBQCAQABEAQCAZGBEAQAAIJBIFRUHJLFUZQEAIBAATQCAIDBUAQGAQAAECQO

Until someone can help me my current deck is:
    2 Cithria of Cloudfield
    3 Fleetfeather Tracker
    1 Ranger Resolve
    3 Brightsteel Protector
    3 Single Combat
    3 War Chefs
    3 Fiora
    3 Laurent Protege
    3 Grizzled Ranger
    3 Vanguard Bannerman
    1 Concerted Strike
    2 Decisive Maneuver
    3 Swiftwing Lancer
    3 Cirthria the Bold
    3 Darius
    1 Unyielding Spirit

LOL I guess this is WraithOfAI's first digital card game. The other digital card games are far worse when it comes to pay to win. My only complaints on this game is when they go back and digitally edit their cards every 2-4 weeks base on people getting their feelings hurt... I mean community feedback.

So when a new player creates a deck and 2 weeks after they dump all their resources to create that deck, there deck becomes weaker. I do not like this method of keeping the meta fresh. I would much prefer a meta staying stable for 6-8 weeks, then have a meta shift with the introduction of new cards. The only time I would say a hard edit of a digital nerf should occur is when a card is clearly out of control and is 50% or more of the rank ladder. aka "Zed Stands Alone Deck" That to me was the only time a nerf to a card should of happened and thank the devs it did happen.

I find it funny the most hated deck in LoR Set 1 was Kinkou Elusives. When Set 2 came out, Kinkou Elusives disappeared. Then the rise of Burn Decks took over tier 1 spots. People complained and burned got nerfed. Guess what Kinkou Elusives are back! At least this is a better balanced meta. I do like that we have 5-6 tier 1 decks in ranked now. This is such a well balanced meta and yet people still manage to stroll in here and complain about something in this game.

If you don't want to pay to win, then put in the time to collect everything. This game is very generous on the resources it gives you and you can complete a collection in solid 12 weeks of putting maybe 8 hour a week to get everything. Have some patience before you start rank.

    Start by building:
    Bannerman
    Burn Aggro
    Kinkou Elusives

All three of these decks are super cheap and very effective in rank. Until you have all three stay out of rank. Hopefully these decks are still good at the end of July, but who knows.

I'm technically close to unlocked all champions. I only need 2 Twisted Fates, 1 Gankplank, 1 Swain left to unlock and I currently hold 6 champion wildcards. I could technically unlock all the champions, but I have not had the desire to play Twisted Fate yet. The only reason I don't burn my wildcards to unlock everything is I don't want 750 shards. It seems very inefficient. If I knew getting a duplicate champion would result in a wildcard, I would clean out and unlock.

On a side note, does anyone else have issues unlocking all the rare (blue) cards? I have more wildcards than cards to unlock with champion, epic, and commons, but I still have like 49 rares left to unlock?

    Tier 1 Decks with "Frejord"
Kinkou Elusives - Ionia with a (7 card splash of Frejord) - Hardly a "frejord" deck, but gets the advantage of a high winrate. 0 frostbite
Endure - Shadow Isles with an (11 card splash of Frejord) - A strong deck that frejord supports. 0 frostbite
Yoink Sej - Blidgewater with a (9 card splash of Frejord) - Strong deck with few Frejord tools. Sej is the only form of frostbite.

The best cards for Frejord are:

    Omen Hawk
    Fury of the North
    Avarosan Sentry
    Elixir of Iron
    They Who Endure
    Sejuani

Not on the List but... Starlite Seer is strong.

The problem with all these cards is they are support cards with the exception of Sej and They Who Endure. These are the closing threats, but they do not make the region overpowered.

P&Z imo is the strongest region. Multiple champions are strong. Ez while down is not out. Vi, Heim, Teemo are all playable in tier 1 decks. The champion in the group Jinx is still a decent deck, but awful. This region can play fast aggro or control.

    Quote From OldManSanns
    • Try to hit at least Level 10 vault every week
    • Try to get every region except Bilgewater to Level 8 Region Reward ASAP -> will net you lots of quick champions
    • Try to get at least 3 wins every day -> will help with the aforementioned
    • Try to use your weekly free expedition token -> will also help with the first 2 plus give free epics
    • Almost all netdecks will run 3x champions, but don't be afraid to experiment with a modified 2x version.  It won't be as good, but often its good enough and it give you freedom to try a few different archetypes.

I know it is mentioned but Bannerman would be a good "Intro to Midrange"
    Budget: https://lor.mobalytics.gg/decks/bqodmrph40q4o3j0lldg
    Full Version: https://lor.mobalytics.gg/decks/bpq0sqtp8n7f47g8esgg

I will warn you, it will get boring after a solid week of playing as the strategy is play dudes, make dudes bigger, smash nexus.

I would avoid Blidgewater, Frejord, (most) Shadow Isles, and Ionia.

Once you are more comfortable with the game another cheap and effective aggro-ish/midrange-ish deck is Kinkou Elusives.
    https://lor.mobalytics.gg/decks/bpc85ulp8n7fhorvousg

I would offer more decks, but to be honest with the meta will change drastically once you get enough resources. I won't overload you with anymore cheap decks. To give an idea of how long it will take you to collect everything. I played the game 17 weeks and I have 0 champions, 10 epics, 52 rares, 19 commons left to collect before I have three of everything and generally followed "OldManSanns" advice above. Here is some good news for you, no new cards will be added until at least August, so you've got at least 7 weeks to collect and catch, so don't feel behind plus you have catch up XP that I don't get. So keep at it and you'll be ready for some advance decks in no time.

I shouldn't of said anything. I mention Elusives and 5 hours later someone is complaining. My fault forum peeps. ;)

Again if you are starting your forum status with: "X is unfair/broken/OP and should be fixed/nerfed/gutted, you are not doing yourself any favors."
You should be asking: "How can I do better against X."

X = Elusives, Burn Aggro, Stand Alone Zed, Unyielding Spirit, Pilfer Goods, etc.

The only thing that needed "fixed" was Stand Alone which they did and it was only because swim made an insane deck the last week of Set 1 that ate up 50%-75% of matches.

I find these posts funny. If we rewind the clock pre-Rising Tides, everyone was screaming "NERF ELUSIVES"

And if I recall correctly I said, "Stand United needs to be changed to 4 mana, because it is out of control with a Zed deck and the elusive problem will be resolved with new cards being introduced to the meta."

One new set later, and no one complains about Kinkou Elusives or Zed Stands Alone anymore. Hmm... now we have moved on to new reasons why I can't win games and it is clearly not my fault, its only because X wasn't broken.

X = Burn Decks, Unyielding Spirit, and Pilfer Goods.

This has been one of the best meta for Runeterra. There is a little a bit of something everyone in every region of the game.

Ask how can I get better at beating Burn and not whine about burn needing a nerf.

Purify works because it removes "all text" from a follower. This includes the text that classifies the card as a "Spider". Now it's been a while since it happened to me, but if you recall a purified card, it will regain it's text.

At least it cuts both ways when it comes to losing buffs and debuffs.

In keeping with the spirit of league Annie, I would say a 2/3 that cost 4 mana, but her ability is "Whenever a card is casted, deal one damage to any enemy unit." Upon casting 8 spells Annie levels up to a 3/4 and retains her ability. Upon leveling up, Tibbers enters the battlefield as a 6/6 Epherneral, Overwhelm who upon entering the battlefield stuns 3 targets. When you have a duplicate Annie, she becomes "Molten Shield" Target ally gains Barrier and any enemy who strikes the barrier is dealt 1 damage. This will cost 4 mana.
