"Borne" is the preferred spelling of the past tense of the verb "bear," meaning "to support." The name means "supported by death." If KT were to add an 'e' to the correct spelling, he would make it "Deathbornee."
I'm not surprised at all. The hype train was already losing steam, and this brought it to a screeching halt. Dropping the metaphor, people who were not in beta were already losing interest, and I suspect this idiocy caused a LOT of them to abandon the game altogether.
There will always be some who are willing to endure any conditions to play something for free, but people who actually spend money on games are not foolish enough to buy into such a bad deal.
Obviously, you want the location down before you start playing relics. So, done correctly, even the first one isn't bad at all. I like it, but it's not the strongest class package of the expansion, so I'll only give it 4 stars even though I think this new archetype will be somewhat viable.
Kind of dumb, kind of annoying, probably kind of a trap just like Iceblood Tower is a trap. You should never use it the way you'd use Puzzle Box because Druid spells are nothing like Mage spells. This is not a come-from-behind spell because you're a lot better off playing it when you have a board, which makes it a bit of a win-more. I don't like it -- 2 stars.
So I guess it's a great target for Nightshade Bud since you absolutely need to find this ASAP in the deck that uses it. I'm not sure how well the deck will function if you have trouble finding it, so you'll want to have no more than three different minions in the deck. Is that going to wreck it? I think it can be done. I'll give it 4 stars because it's extremely strong but has a lot of moving parts.
Actually too much stuff to pack into one card. It gets 5 stars and needs to be nerfed before release. If it makes Celestial decks viable, I shall be very cross.
The ultimate tutor card, but it's too expensive. The obvious synergy with Celestial Alignment is disgusting, obviously, but I cannot believe they will ever allow that card to become good and stay good for any length of time. This card gets 2 stars from me, but I'm sure we'll see plenty of people trying to make it work.
Owls, mines, Stoneborn General, Sesselie ... there are plenty of ways to abuse this. Hadronox is probably the most boring synergy you could come up with. I give this 4 stars. I'd give it more, but only two activations seems a little stingy.

A 4-star legendary to top off a 4-star package. It looks fun, actually, but it's too fiddly to fully compete with some of the other stuff we've seen.
The aggro package seems stronger than the relic package. This gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't rush.
I give the whole relic package 4 stars, but this is definitely the best of the bunch.
Can result in a lot of cheap damage, but you need a very specific setup, so 3 stars.

Easy extra damage after you've already emptied your hand or are already wielding the Magnifying Glaive. Way too strong -- 5 stars.
